We are back again. Same great food and service. We had breakfast twice. They also provided us with two sandwiches to go. Our go to place for breakfast when we stay in Moss Landing.

Down home cafe. Kinda locals joint. Ate breakfast there twice. Very good home style food. One of the meals I had was an artichoke heart omelet, it was awesome.

Food was ok, nothing that would really stand out. The fish sandwich was made well but it didn't taste as flavorful as I would have expected. Deep fried artichokes were good and would recommend trying that.
Not sure why there is this new trend with small restaurants now charging 18% service fee for a family lunch with four people. It used to be mandatory for a big crowd but the coastal restaurants are now using it to bump up their revenue, expecting tourists to pay and not return. A family lunch shouldn't mandate service fee, it's an underhanded tactic and sure way to not have repeat customers.

Moss Landing Café has that charming, welcoming vibe you only get from a great mom-and-pop spot. The menu was full of unique and delicious options you don’t see every day—potato pancakes, fried artichoke hearts, and so much more. The service was just as memorable. Our waitress (wish I had caught her name!) was incredibly personable—we even ended up having a fun chat about football. Places like this are what make traveling special. From now on, every trip down Highway 1 will include a stop in Moss Landing!

My wife and I stopped there for lunch. It looks at the restaurant was a house at one time, long ago. Inside was clean and warm looking. The service and the food was very good. I had fish and chips with a cup of clam chower soup. My wife had grilled cheese sandwich with French fries with a plate of salad. Both cup of soup and salad were added on our order. We had enough food to take with us.

Get the grilled fish of the day; I got sea bass. Accompanied by a steamed artichoke and coleslaw. Clam Chowder was fresh herbed goodness. BF got the Crab/Mushroom/Artichoke omelet with a fresh made carrot muffin. A feast.

Local Cafe within walking distance of the annual Moss Landing Street Fair. Had the California Eggs Benedict, which was delicious. There's no air conditioning so it can get a bit stuffy when it's packed. Service is a little slow but friendly. Nice to have a sit down restaurant. Definitely better than eating outdoors from the food trucks.

After dropping off our son for his first day of kindergarten, my wife needed a mimosa to help her adjust. It was our first time at Moss Landing Cafe and we were extremely happy with our visit. We shared a bowl of Clam Chowder(which may have been my favorite ever) and some French fried artichokes(delicious!) It was early, but the breakfast crowd had already started bubbling in. We were lucky to find a parking spot and an open table immediately. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The restaurant was very small, quaint, and clean. I can’t say enough how reflective the cafe is of Moss Landing culture and vibe. Can’t wait to return!

Our waitress was amazing. She had eight tables with a variety of needs but kept us all happy and fed. She spotted my wife's slow progress on her squid sandwich and dropped off a to go box on our table in anticipation. Awesome!
