If you never had the chance to visit a North Beach Italian restaurant before SF was ruined by the tech bros, Mount Shasta has the answer. Gigi’s is a great little Italian restaurant with the original Italian-American style. Proud of their heritage- photos and great food to prove it. Fun spot. Well worth the morning. If you’re lucky, you might catch Gigi there. Hurry before he moves back to Italy!

Fabulous "hole-in-the-wall" local spot for breakfast or lunch! Gigi greeted us in typical Italian style with a loud welcome. food and service were tops! please support this place! you won't be sorry. prices are good too. short hours so check before you come.

Wandered in here this morning for breakfast. Absolutely loved it! We had a veggie frittata and breakfast burrito- both hit the spot. They take their coffee seriously as well, which is always a plus! The decor is charming, old school, and ramshackle (in a good way). The owner Gigi is a total character. Highly recommend.

The frittata was perfect, the service was even better. You know how Olive Garden says "when you're here, you're family?" You actually feel like family at Gigi's. A truly special experience and can't wait to visit again.

A charming old fashioned Italian American restaurant. Our breakfast was good and filling, the kind grandmas make. It was exactly what we needed on a cold and rainy Friday morning, before we headed out for our Shasta adventures. Our waitress was very friendly, personal and accommodating. Stop by if you have a chance, and your belly will appreciate it!

The server was very attentive and friendly. I was able to add bacon to the already delicious Italian omelette. The prices were really reasonable too. Next time I'm in the area or anyone's in the area definitely patronize this business.

The owner Gigi comes in and suddenly it felt like we were home. Chef's special included a baked apple alongside a ham slice. What?! Yum!! The space is so eclectic. Look at that cash register. We fell in love with this place. Everything about it is YES!! Will be back!!

You've probably never had breakfast in a place like this. The food combinations are so different and all very tasty. The service is excellent for the small town of Mount Shasta. The best part is Gigi, an excellent host and very, very entertaining. It's a big part of the meal.

A new restaurant in Mount Shasta, California! Gigi, an Italian gentleman has had restaurants in Italy, Hawaii and San Francisco. Mount Shasta is fortunate to have him. The continental atmosphere and the Italian Omelet accompanied by polenta with a red sauce, a baked potato (!) and a baked apple (!) were outstanding. Took half the breakfast home! Eager for a second go at it when my appetite returns.

Good coffee, fantastic frittata with chorizo. The best possible breakfast in a chilly morning. Service was friendly as well.
