This place is amazing!! Food is amazing, and the atmosphere is colorful and clean. Homemade tortillas are a must try! Also self serve chips and salsa. The staff is always so friendly and smiling. Ill be stopping by Mount Shasta regularly for this restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly!
My partner and I wanted a quick and delicious dinner with the kids after a long day of snow sledding. Tried two other places in downtown Shasta but both were packed and we did not want to wait - glad we did not! La Perla is adjacent to a bar and has an old school vibe. The decor is diner-esque but interesting. They offer self-serve chips, salsa and soft drinks (the latter for a price). Food portions are generous and very tasty, we all loved our food. As of March 2023, La Perla has the best Mexican food in Mt Shasta City. The street tacos are simple, but on-point with handmade tortillas. The birria is tasty and enchiladas are hot and made with enchilada sauce from scratch (not a can).Parking: Only room for a handful of cars, but you can park down the street
