The area also offers nightly movies, a rope swing, a splash zone, live music, patio boats, an arcade, and a recreation room for rent. The recreation room was described as well worth the price, especially for events such as family talent shows and potlucks.
The camping area was reported to be clean, with restrooms that were cleaned regularly. Security was present and patrolled the area until 1:00 am. Although there were some minor disturbances from teenagers, they were reported to stop within 30 minutes.
The lower BBQ area received negative feedback, as it was not kept in good order and was a long way from the actual beach and lake. However, this did not detract from the overall positive experience of the visitors.
