Great atmosphere, customer service, food and beverage at Mike and Tony’s in Mt. Shasta. Our bartender Sheila made an amazing Martini!

I love this place so much. The fresh gulf prawns are so incredible, I want them all the time. I had the trifle egg noodles are they were so delicious I'm still thinking about them. I do wish they had better bread as it takes away from the overall meal. I do miss the old style of the anti pasta and soup/ salad that is all inclusive but I know things are different post covid.

Went for dinner on a Tuesday night in August after a day of hiking around Redding and Castle Crags. The service was very friendly and quick. They were playing the US Open tennis tournament on the TVs which I loved. I had the Meatballs and Garlic Toast, and the Deep Fried Ravioli - both appetizer plates - and both were very delicious and very filling. Was staying at the Monte Bianco which is right across the street, so definitely turned out to be an easy and great pick.

The service at this place was great! Pur waitress was very sweet! The food? Not so much. Biggest complaint? There was an off-putting acid taste to 5 of our 7 different dishes. We couldn't figure out the flavor. My son nailed it when he said it tasted like the way gasoline smells. Not sure if it was the garlic butter they put on or what it was, but I've never tasted anything like that. The food was ok but the underlying back taste that left a chemical taste in our mouths wasn't good. My daughter's bolognese and the fried artichoke hearts were the only items that didn't taste like it. Oh! And the bread they bring to your table for free. That was delicious. Don't think we will be back. It was expensive for the flavor. However, the service was great. Also the prawns are huge!

My family and I enjoyed this restaurant, the service, and the food. The pasta dishes were delicious. The house salad - basic, with lots of spring mix greens, few croutons and few cherry tomatoes, had good seasoning. The minestrone and clam chowder were good, but just lukewarm, which wasn't too bad on a hot day. The raspberry gelato was excellent, but the fish and chips were "meh". Overall, it was a solid dining experience.

Parking was easy to find. No happy hour, as me tio ed on other reviews. You can order any pasta in a child size or kids chicken fingers and chips, for $10.

Food was below average. Gnocchi was way over cooked. Picatta was so bland and I actually said worst I’ve ever had. Salad good, truffle pasta bland. Service was great though cute town

The fish and chips was the worst I've ever had and was way over cooked. And the ugly blonde waitress was rude and inconsiderate!! I promise I will never eat at this place again.

Great atmosphere. Good Italian faire. Reminds me of my favorite childhood Italian restaurant. Friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. The house salad was fresh and delicious and their creamy Italian dressing was great. My husband had the chicken Marsala and loved it. I had the fettuccini with carbonara sauce and meatballs. Really good. We both had the Chianti and found it a generous pour and delicious.

Traveling and stayed in Shasta for a night. Got take out from here. What a mess. No accurate menu online, anywhere. The girl taking our order seemed really bothered, and kept saying “we don’t have that anymore”. Got there to pick it up and the girl who brought us our food must have been the same girl. No smile, bad attitude, told us to sign our check and leave it on the bar, then walked away. (Name says Leslie R). A lot of the prices on the receipt were double what we saw online. With them refusing to put their updated menu online there’s no way to tell what you should be paying.

Noticed later at the hotel that they gave themselves an 18% tip! For take out! With the same to go containers we would have used for leftovers, and after zero service and an unwelcoming waitress. Outrageous!

Got back to the hotel to find they threw pats of butter into the bag, loose, and the hot food melted it. It was all over everything, pooled in the bag, and we discovered it leaked in the car. Finally sat down to eat. Absolutely dismal. Frozen Costco tortellini and bland sauce. The garlic bread with kalamata was good, and my husband loved the prawns he added to his. But the rest went into the trash. Would not recommend or go back.
