One of the best diners I’ve been to in a long time. I love Mt Shasta I’ve been through a few times. Britany was my server and I love her she was so attentive. She had a great personality which made the service even better. The food was magnificent 10/10
You can't go wrong with Black Bear Diner especially this one being the original from 1995! We went for brunch and they were busy for sure but our waitress was attentive and checked up on us quite a few times! My friend can't have dairy, he did get cheese in his online by accident, he informed the waitress and she had him a new omelette with in 10 minutes with no extra charge for the mistake! I have been to a number of Black Bear diners across California. I am told that this one started them all. To be honest, everyone has a standard by which they gauge diners. For me, the large portions, my coffee staying topped up and the staff behaving sweeter than the pancakes fits the bill just fine. You really can't go wrong here. If you are looking for a place to tuck in out of the weather and experience a down home diner, you found it.
