Mount Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast

Chris and staff made my stay at Mt Shasta simply amazing!! From check in, welcome beverage, breakfast, and everything in between, the service is impeccable. I would always choose to stay here at the ranch even if they opened up a Grand Hyatt next door

Kris and David are wonderful hosts. My wife and I return every year with a group of friends to play in the snow. We are always greeted warmly and all our needs our attended to during our stay. The property is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is top notch. I love sitting around the huge stone fireplace swapping stories of the days adventures. An experience you just can't get at a hotel.

We had a most wonderful stay here. Both Kris and David are amazing hosts. We will definitely be back. Kris made the most delicious breakfast and David took such good care of us. Wonderful vacation.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating. The space had an amazing view of Mt. Shasta. In addition to a lovely breakfast there were fresh baked cookies everyday!

I have such fond memories of staying here with my Mom as a child. We never thought we’d be back, especially with my 3yr old daughter. It’s a beautiful, old, historic house with walls that could talk! Kris and David were so wonderful to my family and they made us feel at home! Our breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade blackberry turnovers! Yummmmmm! Also, I can’t eat dairy and Kris made sure it wasn’t a “thing” and happily accommodated me and I was able to eat the same things as the rest of my family. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Thank you for another wonderful stay! The view from your porch will never get old!

If you are planning to stay in Mt Shasta, or merely driving through on a road trip, this is the place to stay. Super friendly, many details like freshly baked cookies, make a stay here superb.

This is my beloved home away from home! For years I went to Mount Shasta and camped...I love camping! And over time, I started to want a place that had a wonderful bed to sleep in and a kitchen I could cook in. I searched and searched for such a place, and eventually found the Ranch, and fell in love! It became my home away from home. There are SO many things I love about this place: the incredible structure of the Ranch house and the beautiful deck and deck furniture and wind chimes; the gorgeous views of Mount Shasta; the expansive land around the property; the carriage house in the back with a full kitchen and 2 remodeled bathrooms and 5 beautiful rooms to rent; the care that the owners Kris & David have put into finding beautiful antique furniture that fits the period of the property! I am including a picture of the room we stayed in, in the carriage house. Notice the view of Mount Shasta! The whole property looks out onto Mount Shasta. I love sitting on the deck and just basking in the beauty of the great mountain.

Kris has a heart of gold and wants everyone who comes to the Ranch to have a wonderful experience, and she goes out of her way to provide it, including the delicious breakfast that she makes. And she is great about accommodating various dietary needs. Kris & David have both put their heart and soul into the Ranch, and been true stewards of this property that was owned by Bill and his wife Mary for many many years, who have both passed now. I feel deeply blessed that Kris & David have chosen to care for this beautiful, historic property. It is a deep labor of love, and I am infinitely grateful for each experience I have had here, including the beautiful people I have met at the Ranch over the years. I have also brought so many people here, including my family, friends and sweethearts, and they have all loved it! I am including some pics we took with the owner Kris on this trip. Fabulous Find in Mt Shasta!
We had a simply wonderful experience staying at the Mt Shasta Ranch B&B. Kris and David are the most amazing hosts. They are the private owners of this historic mansion B&B. Super comfy rooms, beautifully appointed bathrooms, lovely furniture, and an amazing view of the breathtaking Mt Shasta from rooms and the old fashioned porch. Our sweet Sheltie was most welcome, and the delicious breakfast was hearty and healthy. We will most certainly return! Nancy & Jeremy & Layla

Incredible views of Mount Shasta from the porch. Plenty of parking space and shared areas were very spacious. We stayed in room 3 of the carriage house.
There was some noise from the nearby highway and train lines.
Very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and provided a very nice breakfast. Added bonus was the very cute elderly dog.

4 of us just spent 3 nights in the cottage. Location was awesome, place was beautiful with a full kitchen, dining area, and outdoor table as well. And the owners were informative, friendly and treated you like visiting friends and served you a delicious hearty breakfast to start your day. What a treat and we can’t wait to go back.

Lovely place to catch a breath and relax for the night. Several rooms to choose from, beautiful grounds, hearty breakfast.

Our jeep group has been having our annual Couples Weekend here for years and look forward to many many more. From the homey atmosphere to the roaring fires in the oversize fireplace to the wonderful breakfasts it doesn't get more perfect. As a plus Kris and Dave are the best hosts, have great stories and feel just like family. It's just like settling in for the night in your own home. My wife and I have stayed there 3 year in a row and plan to continue our annual weekend there. Beautiful place and the hosts are amazing. We look so forward to our weekend there every year.
