I love this beautiful B&B. The location is convenient to everything you’d want to do in the Mt Shasta area. The hosts are WONDERFUL!David is charming and gracious and a reservoir of information.Kris, I can’t say enough about Kris. First she is a magical baker! One delicious bakery product after another, even the blueberry scones were soft moist and delicious, a rarity if you know scones. Breakfasts were amazing 3 courses. All were creative. The amuse starters were the best. I want the recipes!!! Fruit at ever breakfast. The baked desserts were so yummy. David always offered a baggie with them in case you wanted them for a snack later.Kris’s cooking prowess is not all I have to say. Kris was so thoughtful and generous. One of my friends was coughing, Kris came out with a bag of cough drops her. No one asked. Kris just noticed and offered. I mentioned that my hands were chapped from the cold (yes I spent a day on the mountain in the snow) Kris went and gave me her own personal Kiehl’s hand salve. The B&B had the complimentary lotion, shampoo etc… but my hands were painfully chapped and like a good mom she said , here honey this rich cream will help you. It did right away. I can’t say enough. I am filled with gratitude for the kind care I received.

Unsurpassed!! I prefer B&B's over hotels whenever possible and as such, have stayed in MANY from CA to Martha's Vineyard to S. Carolina. This place tops them all. I haveNEVER stayed at a B&B that not only serves the most delicious3-course breakfast, but accommodates any dietary restrictions (I'm gluten free). They also provide you with a luxurious warm robe to relax in before slipping into the softest sheets ever!! (Seriously, I had to ask where they got their sheets from!) The owners Kris & David were attentive to our every need and my husband and I will DEFINITELY be returning.Rooms: HUGE beautifully decorated rooms. They provide a bathrobe that is warm and fluffy and the sheets are some of the softest I’ve ever slept in. PURE HEAVEN!!Food & drinks: Every day the owners create a different gourmet 3-course breakfast that is beyond belief!! They also happily accommodate any dietary restrictions. This is something I’ve never experienced at the more than dozen B&B’s I’ve visited over the years. Just amazing!!

Wonderful property, hospitality could be improved. We did an early morning hike and let the owner know well in advance that we might miss the breakfast window of 9:30am, and kindly asked them if we could still have it upon arrival. We got lost on the trail and were back at 9:35am just 5mins late and were refused breakfast, though it was nice of them to provide coffee and cake. This was still very disappointing from a boutique and homey place that is otherwise nice. We were going to extend and stay another night, but with that attitude and animosity we left right away.

The view from the veranda, the delicious breakfasts, the lovely rooms and the excellent hospitality of the hosts Kris and Dave, make this my favorite place to stay in Mt Shasta. This is a gem!

I loved my recent stay at the Mt. Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast. David and Kris were so welcoming and friendly. It’s an incredibly beautiful home with fantastic views of Mt. Shasta. The breakfasts were so delicious, and David even served me on the big, beautiful porch. I miss being there and would encourage everyone to treat themselves to a stay.

Just called this location to inquire about a stay. I asked about the dog fee if there was a cap on the cost as with most other hotels. I was told NO and that it is "$25 per day for each day. The dog can not be left unattended in the room. So you would have to take him with you when you go out. The dog also can not be in the dining room, so, you have to eat out on the Veranda and put your dog in the car."So you're telling me, I would have to pay an additional $200 for my dog just to sleep in your facility?!?!?! Why not just say NO DOGS ALLOWED?***Addition: In her comments she stated that she explained to me it was a health code violation. I never asked why and the phone conversation NEVER got that far once she said, "You have to put your dog in the car." FYI No sane and humane person leaves their dog in the car when it's 88 degrees outside! So stop lying.Yes, some dogs get nervous, but not all dogs! Again, based on your response, just say "NO DOGS ALLOWED" and call it a day.

I’m on the tail end of a 16 day road trip and the Mount Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast was my favorite stay. The grounds, the main building and my room were beautiful and had a lot of character. Kris and David were wonderful hosts and you can tell they put their heart and soul into this place. There were cookies upon arrival and you could get tea, hot chocolate, etc when you wanted. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. The best breakfast I’ve had in a really long time. I’m going to be dreaming about that berry turnover for a long time. So good. I would definitely stay here again. Million times better than any corporate owned hotel/motel. Much love. ♥️

What a beautiful place! Kris and David are wonderful hosts. The history of the place is fascinating. The breakfast was incredible. Our room was awesome and had some furniture from the late 1800's. Million dollar views of Mt. Shasta from the front porch and grounds. 10 stars! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We have had such a lovely experience staying in the Mount Shasta Ranch. The view Mt. Shasta and the location is awesome. The facility is peaceful, historic and lovely decorated and renovated. But on top of all that you sich lovely hosts with David & Kris. Fantastic conversations and service and the breakfast is outstanding (Zimt Pear and Tasty Soufflé, at the end Blueberry Scones). Lovely. We cannot only recommend, we will come back.
