Came for lunch. Tried to skip carb and eat healthier and asked if I can have veggie as replacement. The waitress was flexible and agreed to change it without extra charge. Food came fast. My soup was delicious, although the replaced bean sprouts were scanty. Can't ask for more when they were nice enough to modify for you.Basil chicken and yellow curry chicken were both tasty. Wonderful spicy Thai lunch plates, just the entree. Doesn't open until noon on weekdays, which means that if you come in at noon there won't be many other customers, so service is faster than at some of the busier places on Castro. But not better food, yum.

The space at this location is smaller compared to the original Amarin Thai, and the menu offers a more limited selection of street-style dishes. On a Saturday afternoon, we had no trouble finding a table. We decided to order the Panang curry with rice and the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu. Both dishes were delightful, and the service was prompt.
