This seems to be the most authentic of all the Tamil restaurants i have tried in the south Bay area.
The kothu parotta and the fish varuval were really good.
Overall i would say it was worth the price.

Loved the food — truly authentic Madurai-style cuisine. We had the mutton biriyani, chicken kothu porotta, and Kari dosa, and every bite took me back to my hometown. Even our 3-year-old enjoyed the meal!

The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even prepared a refreshing lemon nanari sarbath (a traditional Tamil Nadu drink) especially for us.

Thank you for the wonderful food and excellent service....

Thali is the best. One of a kind. Tooooo good. Saying that, place smells. Clean it. Keep it tidy.
