I felt so bad, my wife went to surprise me with an ube dessert for my birthday and was told they don’t take cash. What kind of business model is this? How do you not accept cash??She felt so embarrassed when she walked out. Completely asinine. Lost a sale and will never go there again.

Bad customer service. It happened very recently 5/8/25 around 11:57: I waited in front until 12:00 bcoz they opened at 12:00nn. And the lady just waived the hand “No,” not open”. And I call the number. She said “we are not open bcoz of delivery “ she never open the door to talk professionally. Very bad customer service. To the management you need to work on it.

Good that it's open late, mocha looked and tasted like a watered down nescafe, the one person in the cafe seemed not too happy about their job. I'll skip next time.

I’m honestly in shock that this is not better known. This is maybe the best dessert in all of South Bay and I’ve been to some of the most popular spots for Japanese, Vietnamese and other Asian desserts. These Pinoy-inspired desserts are amazing! With better branding and marketing, they should be able to charge a lot more, for how unique and yummy this is.

NOT HALO-HALO! It’s a semblance of halo-halo. It should be called something else, like “coconut jelly and boba mix.” The only good thing about it was the ube ice cream topping, and the corn flakes (which replaces the pinipig nicely). The ice was too fine and tasted like sweet coffee. The leche flan was a bit dense.
That said, halo-halo is not supposed to taste like coffee. The ice should have a crunchier texture. The syrup from the ingredients should be enough sweetening, then just add plain milk. The ingredients had the beginnings of a real halo-halo, the coconut jelly (nata de coco) was good, the jackfruit bits seemed to be real fruit, the boba was well-prepared and had a great chewy texture (unlike some that still have a mealy center). BUT, real halo-halo must have some sweetened red mung beans, white beans, garbanzos maybe, some have sweetened saba or plantains.
All in all, it was good for a hot day. But if you want a more authentic halo-halo, go to Goldilocks, Chowking, or maybe even Max’s Fried Chicken.
My wife loved the Green Rose Milk Tea, can’t say anything else because I didn’t taste it. We will probably go back and try the pastries next time.
Service was good, the kids behind the counter were friendly and efficient. Parking is free, but can be a task on weekends and busy days, but you’ll manage.
