This has always been my favorite for Paella. I moved away 4 years ago and every time I come back to visit I come here!!

Food was fabulous . I had the lunch special, lamb enchiladas with black beans and rice. Just a great ginger beer to drink. Wife had the Cristini with salmon. Service was good . Nice outside location to eat, although there is a large indoor which was not busy at lunch. We have been here at dinner when it's SRO . Nice place

Excellent food and exceptional service. Friendly and attentive. Ate outside and very comfortable. We will return.

We wanted something light for our dinner after a heavy brunch earlier in the day and Cascal was the perfect place to dine. The bruschetta was outstanding; our guest's lamb albondigas was tasty and heart of palm salad never fails to please. Because of hearing issues, we dined outdoors - not as festive as indoors, especially without the umbrellas spread out over the area, but enjoyed the beautiful, lighted tree. The waitress was most pleasant and accommodating despite having to trek all the way to our quiet corner outdoors. We enjoyed our evening there!

Great music and overall vibe. Food is excellent. We love it and come whenever we're in the area.

I had the Cascal paella and it was great! My gf had the crab tostada and she loved it! Sangrias were yummy and not sweet with I prefer. For dessert, I had an espresso martini and it's actually one of the best ones I've had which makes it super dangerous! Lastly, our server was attentive. Thank you for a great experience!!!

Not inexpensive, but consistently solid service, food and atmosphere. Always a great dining experience.

We came in early, no.problem. We were seated outside on the lovely patio. We ordered the Sangria and Argentinian Malbec, both delicious. The bread dip was lemony and delightful. We had the Hearts of Palm salad and Apple & Goat Cheese Salad, and we split them on our extra plates. Great choice. I had Peruvian Seafood Stew, which was delicious and fresh. My friend had the Pork Shank, and asked for vegetables instead of rice, and said they were delicious. When it cooled down, without us asking, they lit the outdoor heaters. It was a great meal. I will go back if Im in the area again.

We often go to Cascal and enjoy the Tapas. We normally will order the sampler but this time we ordered and shared a bunch of different Tapas. They were excellent!

It had been years since I was here last and I'm glad we decided to come back. The staff were very friendly albeit very busy which is to be expected on a Friday night. My wife had an extra spicy jalapeño margarita and loved it enough to order a second. The Spanish tortilla took the edge off both of our appetites while we waited for our reservation. We had the goat cheese salad and corn sautee to start once we were seated and they were both delicious. The salad had just the right mix of sweet and savory from the apple and mild goat cheese. The corn sautee had nice flavors but it wasn't that impressive to me. My wife loved it. We followed with the mushroom empanadas and croquettas de jamon. The empanadas and croquettas were good but we were pretty full by the time they were served so we sampled them and boxed them up. Looking forward to having them later today. Overall it was a very nice dining experience.

Cascal is my go to when I'm meeting friends who are in the south Bay and we need to find a midpoint. The outdoor dining area is spacious and parking is within walking distance. The hearts of palm salad was amazing! .Fresh and delicious with green papaya and roasted pineapple in it on arugula. The honey, mustard vinaigrette was light enough, but with enough depth. There's always something on the menu that suits everyone's taste.

We made a reservation for a dinner to celebrate my niece’s graduation. She attained her Masters in Family Therapy from the University of Santa Clara. A very important occasion indeed! There were five adults and a 4 year old girl in our group. Everything about being at Cascal’s contributed to making it a most special night. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, the service was outstanding and the music from the live group was most enjoyable. We ended the evening dancing in front of the musicians to songs from The Gypsy Kings. Thank you, Cascal for a most memorable evening!
