Awesome place. I'm here more than I should be. If you love loud live Latin music get here at or after 7:30 PM Friday night. If you don't get here so you can be done by 7:30!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Cascal in Mountain View! The menu is filled with delicious options, and I especially loved their ceviches—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly zingy. The paella was a standout, bursting with authentic taste and tender seafood. Their drinks were also exceptional; I highly recommend the orange margarita and the watermelon margarita—both were perfectly crafted and incredibly refreshing, not too sweet. The staff made the entire experience even more enjoyable—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The lively atmosphere combined with outstanding service and delicious food makes Cascal a must-visit spot. I can't wait to return!
Great service, quick seating, good food. I'm not sure if it's me, but the portions seem to have shrunk a bit. The top of sampler used to have nuts and seem to be missing some bites that we used to have. Still tasty though and we'd go back. Staff were very attentive and on top of refilling drinks, taking orders, clearing plates, etc..
Inside was REALLY noisy so we sat outside. Luckily it is still warm but we also had a heater nearby. Food was great except for the Carnitas which was a bit dry and had no accompanying sauce- which would have been helpful Wait staff were helpful. Al in all a fun night out.
The mixed tapas plate was perfect for us this time. 2 of everything that we'd wanted to try.
Cascal has an excellent variety of small plates that are suitable for sharing. Someone dining alone can select 2 dishes and dessert without overeating.
Another wonderful experience at Cascal! Great food and service, and a beautiful environment.
Good sangria, but the tapas platter was very disappointing. The part we hated the most was the healthcare surcharge that they added to the check. Healthcare is between the employer and the employees, it's not my job to pay the employees healthcare, I don't need to be involved in this.
Paella delicious - very flavorful - rice used outstanding Sampler appetizer plate - interesting salmon particularly worth The price.
Phenomenal as usual. Cascal continues to be my go-to restaurants for hosting out of town visitors. Great food, great drinks and wine, great service.

The food is excellent, but the portions are quite small for the price. The drinks are quite delicious as well.
This has always been my favorite for Paella. I moved away 4 years ago and every time I come back to visit I come here!!
Food was fabulous . I had the lunch special, lamb enchiladas with black beans and rice. Just a great ginger beer to drink. Wife had the Cristini with salmon. Service was good . Nice outside location to eat, although there is a large indoor which was not busy at lunch. We have been here at dinner when it's SRO . Nice place
Excellent food and exceptional service. Friendly and attentive. Ate outside and very comfortable. We will return.
We wanted something light for our dinner after a heavy brunch earlier in the day and Cascal was the perfect place to dine. The bruschetta was outstanding; our guest's lamb albondigas was tasty and heart of palm salad never fails to please. Because of hearing issues, we dined outdoors - not as festive as indoors, especially without the umbrellas spread out over the area, but enjoyed the beautiful, lighted tree. The waitress was most pleasant and accommodating despite having to trek all the way to our quiet corner outdoors. We enjoyed our evening there!
