Received a tip that there was $99.99/LB A5 Wagyu at the Mountain View Costco for the past week. Checked last weekend and they indeed had A5 Wagyu near the seafood section. However, it looks like they are not re-stocking the meat, where the only cuts remains really bad coloring. The photos make the A5 Wagyu look better, I promise you they were all mediocre pieces.

I wish so much that this Costco had more vegan/gluten free items. They even lack in a lot of foods that are naturally vegan/gluten free (like a variety of frozen vegetables.) not a great location if you want healthy snack options. Mostly standard American food here.

This Costco has no gas station. While the store itself is like every other Costco, this review is for alternate issues. Their worker Lorenzo is a horrible person, and should probably be fired. I was asking him if he knew where I could locate the Shrimp dumplings and all he did was give me a dirty look and walked away. I'm sorry not all employees know where every exact item is, but you don't have to be rude. Just tell me you don't know, I am understanding. When I brought it up with the manager Tiffany, she also ignored me. Try any other Costco but here, the parking lot is too small to accommodate even a weekday crowd, it is next to an in n out. The amount of traffic here makes anyones experience a difficult one. If you're looking for a relaxed Costco experience, definitely try the one in Hayward, the employees are friendly, and its close by to my house

I wish I could give a 5 star because i've been coming here for more than 15 years however, I can't. Truly this store just keeps getting worse as time goes on. First of all and most importantly the staff and customer service is horrendous. Save your time and buy from Amazon. I was speaking to the cashier as my child didn't want to let go of a toy (and because I knew she would lay on it in the car and I didn't want it to touch the unsanitary checkout) and asked him if he could just scan it quickly. No response. I asked three times thinking he did not hear me through the plastic shield between us. However, after the third time he looks up and says "I heard you the first time." Last weekend I came with my mother and they stopped her and said that she isn't a member and her card was fake. They then tried to confiscate it from her and did not want to give it back to her until i raised my voice. Utterly ridiculous. Also I wish they were more cautious about covid and sanitized their checkouts after each use like other stores do. I keep hoping to have a more positive experience here than negative but I can never seem to enjoy my time at this costco.

Of the many CostCo centers around, this one disappoints me the most. How do the managers allow so many of their customer service colleagues to act as if helping a customer is some big hassle in their day? And the wait times! Have you ever come here to return something and NOT had to wait in a big line? And the final issue for me is how this particular CostCo goes overboard with the sampling stations. After I've wasted too much time in the returns line, I just want to get my shopping done. But almost every end cap is clogged up with traffic as people park their carts and stand around eating the free samples. I'd like to see some improvement, since going to better-run CostCo centers (Brisbane, for example) is not as geographically desirable.

Well that was a horrible experience for me I got pizza and pespi and after I ate my pizza i started to get a bellyache and i didn't feel well after eating i think my pizza may have given me food poisoning but I am not sure customers please check your pizza before leaving I will never be eating pizza at this Costco again.

Don't come here to make returns. They are consistently understaffed and the line is outside the building - often at the tire center. This is not fun during the winter months. I waited 10 minutes in line and it didn't move. I went inside to see what was going on only to discover that they had two people in customer service and one was tied up with the manager talking to a customer. I interrupted them to let them know that there were ten people in line in the cold and asked if they could please call more customer service staff to move the line along. I waited another 5 minutes and the line moved up one spot. No one was called to the desk to help. At fifteen minutes in I had to decide if my shopping was more important than my return. This used to be my favorite Costco to shop at. No more. They've been going downhill over the last 6 months. I'll be heading elsewhere.

Love Costco. They are adjusting to the pandemic by Controlling the number of customers. They also provide hand sanitizer, removing display tables so there are more space for customers to move around. It is a new world. The businesses that are thinking outside of the box: being flexible, providing sanitizer, streamlining their products: less selection but better quality. Costco will be around for a long time because the management teams willing to change with the situations.

It has virus I believe, not sure it is Coronavirus, but I felt sick after stay there more than 20 Min, and this is not my first time. The store is well managed, clean, but the doors are too small comparing with other Costco like the one on Coleman in San Jose. The air does not vent very well or fresh. My nose felt pinched by bad air. Hope it is not Covid. I went back home and start to clean my nose, hands and drink wine...and take Zinc

I have been to several Costco locations in the Bay Area and this one is by far the least enjoyable. Make sure you allow plenty of time to park if you go on the weekend. Better yet, park on the street and walk a little! You have been warned. I have pulled in thinking maybe this time there won't be a line of cars to park, but alas that never happens. They have a decent electronics section on your left when you walk in. Printer ink is scarce. I tried the refill once for an Epson printer and it did not work with my printer. Clothes in the middle rotate regularly. They are often out of any size smaller than Large so if you see something you like, trust me, just buy it. You can return it later if you change your mind. Once I noticed a box of sweaters unopened under the table and I asked a worker if she could open it to see if there was an XS sweater - and there was! I asked for it in both colors, but she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The workers are always folding clothes and chatting. Little do they know I am bilingual in Spanish. Usually complaints about the job and customers. Sigh. The food section is decent, standard options, and pretty consistent in selection. The best sections IMHO are the wine discounts, the fresh fish and meat section (holy giant crab claws!), and specialty gourmet section (Honolulu Cookie Company for example.) You can use the self check out if you do not have alcohol. Hang on to your receipt so you are the not the person holding the line scrambling to get out...

This feedback for costco in general; not tied to this store. Costco has developed a monopoly in payment processing with Visa. Costco is large enough to easily accommodate payments using all type of cards (including non-VISA). But they don't. I forgot to bring my visa card today. At the end of shopping, during checkout there's surprise. None of non Visa cards worked (Amex, master, discover). Hate you, you monopolized piece of business. You wasted my time. Tennis balls: they are often out of stock.

I purchased the Kirkland Signature Unsalted Mixed nuts in less than a month. Today I found out tiny insect eggs inside the almond. I contacted the customer service and they are quite ignorant about this case.

I have been a customer with Costco for over 30 years. My business also has been feautured several times on the American Express Small Business board. I am greatly disappointed with my experience at this specific location with the staff member Estrella Lopez and the store manager Tod German. I have filed a formal complaint with the store and since then I have had to follow up with a formal complaint about the store manager Tod German. When I got to the counter Estrella told me to place my items on the tray. Then she told me to back away because of Covid as if I did something wrong. At this point I felt uncomfortable, then she rushed me and offered to assist the customer behind me. The. She got fed up with me when I refused to let someone in front of me and she walked away. I spoke to a manager and the manger gave apologies on her behalf but the Espirensa had no apologizes or remorse for how she treated me. I felt like this was not enough and I asked for the Corporate's office information so that I can report this. They could not give me any information, so I decided to write this review on yelp and include a photo because of their lack of responds or remorse. Estrella Lopez took the same review photo I took, with my business name and circled it around the Internet slandering my business and my name calling me a stupid female dog. I took her photo down but I kept the review up. Because I had not receive support from the Costco management I emailed Costco's corporate office at [email protected] and called and they did take down the formal complaint and they have the photo that Estrella is circulating around the Internet slandering my name. I email this information and photo to Costco manager, with no one responds. I called and speak to Frank (another manager) and he said he would call me back and never did. It took 3 days to return my calls and emails. Today I spoke with Tod German at 12:02 he proceeded to apologize for Estrellas behavior. When I explain the damage done by Estrella circulating slander to my name and my business in the middle of Covid when I'm supposed to shut down, Tod had no empathy. Tod German told me "Just as I had the right to take a photo and write a review, Estrella has the right to post what she wants to about your business. This is a prime example of how Large Corporations threaten and hurt small business. I have been in business for 15 years and although I was featured and spot lighted. Tod German as a store manager supports Estrellas efforts to sabotage my business reputation by telling me today that it was my fault and if I had not posted a bad review this would not have happened. As a store manager you should not censor people, if anything honest feedback is essential. I have not heard any feedback. My business has slowed down due to Covid, because I own a salon and we had to close down. But now with Estrella slandering my business all over the Internet, this affects my reputation and it makes it ever harder to open back up and I am one of the few black businesses. No one at Costco had any remorse. And on top of it they contacted Instacart and said that I was behaving inappropriately, when I was being discriminated against.

This is for the optical dept. I was fine when I purchased my contacts a week ago out of pocket but wasnt able to purchase using VSP due to it being locked. Called VSP and they said nothing is locked so I don't know who's lying. Anyway..Costco person that helped me said that I can call and try to verify it later being that it's almost closing time. So i finally had time to call in a week later and he don't remember who I was and that he said we don't verify anything over the phone. I was like what!!! You told me I could. I didn't want to mention we are in a freakin PANDEMIC that I have to come over there just to verify my VSP! That is absolutely unacceptable. Thought I would save money going to Costco buying my contacts but with their service I'll pay more elsewhere.
