The owners are extremely congenial and welcoming. A pleasure to do business there.

The egg custard and mango mochi are spectacular! Also the woman working there has been in the business for 45 years and is very kind and knowledgeable

My mom and I walked into this place today and at first we were a little surprised by the prices, but we decided to give this place a shot. This is a little bakery with few items but each item is made with the best ingredients. Sure you can find cheaper options at ranch 99 or 85° but they won't compare to this place. I can tell everything is made from scratch without preservatives. Not mass produced like the stuff you find at 85° and ranch 99 or any other chain chinese bakery.
Everything was so delicious. Even my mom who really dislikes spending $$ on such items was very happy we bought everything we did and would like to go back.
The items I got were the bride cake with winter melon, mango mochi, coffee sliced cake, almond cake, sesame balls, and the red bean puff with egg yolk. We haven't tried everything yet. But so far I'm really impressed by the sesame ball, mango mochi (filled with fresh mango and so soft!), and red bean puff with egg yolk. The sesame balls with red bean paste is way better than any that I have tried. I'm pretty sure she makes the red bean paste from scratch. The woman that works there is so kind and sweet. You can taste the love and care in their pastries. I am happy to support small businesses with quality food. 10/10 would recommend you do too!

Pleasantly surprised!

A small bakery that had the sweetest lady taking orders and baking the goods. It’s cash only and I ended up getting few pastries to share with my coworkers. She ended up giving me a free sweet roll. The egg tarts and sweet rolls were good and still warm.

A traditional bakery style. I saw the review and honestly I thot it should be not bad. But the quality of their steam pork bun, egg tart at $4 plus each is totally not worth it. The quality of the steam bun is horrible. 99ranch for theirs at $1.60 is better. The other pieces are decent but not fantastic. I will say the mango mochi is nice that's the only that deserved a 4star. Staffs are friendly though

I live about an hour and a half away from the nearest Chinatown, and so I never get bak thong koh (steamed rice cake) any more. Visiting my aunt and uncle in Mtn View provided me an opportunity to stop by this lovely little bakery and try their rice cake, and I am so glad I did! Perfect texture, perfect taste. The baked char siu bao are also really good!

They only take cash, but there's an ATM a couple blocks down the street (in the direction of the Maison Alyzée next door). Stop by and get some good food!

The old woman is very mean haha, made me not want to eat here, but the older gentleman is extremely nice and helpful. Good bakery overall however.

I had so much expectations when I saw the reviews but the food is plain and expensive. To be more specific, the napoleon is the worst I ever had, when I thought I already ate so much desserts there could hardly be any worse. Also I was starving but still the cream is way too gross. I decided to go eat some other food and then go to Whole Foods for bakery afterwards to get rid of the tacky greasy stuff haunting me(because I was hungry and in a hurry so I ate fast and regret later)
