Kolbeh

We stopped by the Kolbeh on Saturday, June 5, and they appear to be out of business at this location. We have enjoyed ordering weekly takeout from Kolbeh for the last couple years. We will miss their delicious food. We're sad to see them close. :(

I *love* this place! Think of it as "Mom's home cooking" where "Mom" is Persian. The place is run by a mother and daughter who are warm and friendly. The service is good, and the food is always perfect. I have never had a bad meal here. The weekday specials are great; I highly recommend them. If it's a weekend, I typically go for the Zereshk Polo, which is a Joojeh (marinated chicken thighs) kabab with saffron rice and barberries. My husband and I have been dining at this restaurant for a long time. We dine there every week or every other week. The waitress knows what we want to order without us saying it. Everything we ordered there were delicious. This is a small family restaurant so service might be slow at times especially when it is busy. People need to chill and stop complaining.
