Drove by today and sad to see that this restaurant appears to be no longer doing business. We always found the food to be delicious and will miss the convenient location.

We stopped by the Kolbeh on Saturday, June 5, and they appear to be out of business at this location. We have enjoyed ordering weekly takeout from Kolbeh for the last couple years. We will miss their delicious food. We're sad to see them close. :(

Had dinner delivered from here. Rather skimpy portions. Best part of the order was the shirazi salad

We ordered as part of our meal the Mahi Kabob two weeks prior to go. As I started to eat the salmon fillet was extremely chewy and very dry throughout along with the rice. When we called to let the waitress know that the salmon was overcooked she promptly told us "if I cook it less it will be raw then" which suggests to me that they do not have knowledge to cook fish which is disappointing since this dish costs $21.95.

Food was absolutely tasteless and cold despite the fact that I arrived early. And love 5 minutes away.

We tried the food here for the first time yesterday and had a take away. The food was not good. We had the beef and chicken kolbeh and similar to the other reviews it tasted bland. The hummus too was so-so, disappointing that True Food Kitchen which is not a persian restaurant had better tasting hummus and pita bread. We wasted $60. Never going back.

I like their koobideh. Tastes like original persian kabobs.

Repeatedly asked to reconfirm the order and still gave us the wrong order.. called back and they hung up saying “I am the chef I know” - ridiculous. And the prices were 50% more than what showed online.

This is extremely greasy and I ended up not feeling so well after. If they can make the koobideh with a little less fat I would be happy to try it again.

I was very disappointed with my order. We spent over 60+ and the quality of the food was horrible. We eat persian food all the time & the quality of the food was below horrible. Sorry but the quality of your meat is really cheap you can tell. I wasn't sure if I was eating actual meat or not or fake meat. I ordered the Soltan and Royal which is chicken kabob and beef kobodeh. The chicken was decent but everything else sorry just nasty

If you look below you will see a few reviews on a racist incident that happened here with a table ofMoms/friends and their infants. My fiancé and I were sitting right next to them and I witnessed it all. I did overhear back and forth about a charge on their bill and requests for change. All of a sudden I see the waitress/possibly the owner spraying Lysol towards their table and she muttered something. I heard one of the moms say "I can't believe you just said that!" That's when it all cakeTogether in regards to what was happening. Gave me a shitty feeling in my stomach, I have never seen that kind of behavior or guts of someone running a restaurant. My fiancé and I were in total shock!Food: the food was decent but definitely overpriced for the portions served. I agree with a lot of helpers about the service being extremely slow even for just being served some water. 3 stars for food. One star for the unprofessional waitress/possible owner. We don't need this behavior and shame on her!!

Take away food was completely inedible as it was cooked with some kind of rancid oil.

I would give zero stars if that was possible. Everything tasted stale, the meat tasted rotten and smelt of fish oil. Had to throw the whole thing away and even then the smell plagued our house. Yeah. Covid has everyone beat but food that bad requires deliberate decisions so yeah, never ordering again.

I *love* this place! Think of it as "Mom's home cooking" where "Mom" is Persian. The place is run by a mother and daughter who are warm and friendly. The service is good, and the food is always perfect. I have never had a bad meal here. The weekday specials are great; I highly recommend them. If it's a weekend, I typically go for the Zereshk Polo, which is a Joojeh (marinated chicken thighs) kabab with saffron rice and barberries. I don't know what they marinate their chicken in, but it's amazing! The only times I ever had bad service here were when they had an outside waitress who would dote over some customers and ignore others, but she's long gone.

I wouldn't dine here again. They are extremely racist, well, maybe just the old lady with long brown hair... I think she's the owner. Anyway, the food was mediocre but the ambiance.... well, I felt unwelcome.
