Believe it or not, there’s a beautiful lake in Mountain View — and this restaurant is a must-go! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is consistently excellent, and it’s the perfect setting for any occasion — from an intimate dinner to a wedding or company celebration. Special thanks to Matthew for his genuine kindness and exceptional service that’ll definitely have us coming back! 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

We were looking for a venue to host our wedding reception (we got married elsewhere) - and luckily stumbled upon Michaels Restaurant. We had 80 guests - the food was amazing especially when you consider the size of our group! I had multiple people comment on how impressed they were with how the steak and chicken tasted. Also had multiple people comment on how much they loved the venue, the venue itself is very nice with an outdoor patio and a view of water/golf course. Adrienne and Sam did an amazing job organizing everything, replied promptly to our many questions the months beforehand. Adrienne and Jose were super helpful day of. Plenty of parking. The venue fee was very reasonable, menu flexible and pricing was very transparent. Would highly recommend Michaels Restaurant if you're looking for a group gathering.

I was there today for the first time in a long time! The place looked nice. All I ordered was a Shoreline breakfast. I cashed in at 12:23PM. I waited 45 minutes. NOTHING! I got feed up, and asked for my money back. The best part of being there was the cashier. She was so nice, professional, and polite. I don’t know her name? She felt so bad. There weren’t too many people there. I just had enough, and left.

I recently dined at Michael's and was thoroughly impressed by the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, prompt, and incredibly attentive — truly top-tier hospitality that made the evening feel special.

The presentation of the food was stunning — each dish looked like a work of art and was clearly prepared with care. However, while the visuals were impressive, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. Some dishes felt a bit underwhelming in taste, lacking the depth and seasoning I was hoping for.

That said, the exceptional service more than made up for the culinary shortfall. With a few tweaks to the flavor profile, this could easily become a five-star experience. I’d return just for the atmosphere and hospitality alone.

The lunch menu here is solid, with plenty of tasty picks. If the weather’s nice, definitely grab a seat outside, you might spot a few furry or feathered friends while you eat! I had the chicken and pasta dish, and it came out just right, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh, generous, and packed with flavor too. Plus, you can't beat those relaxing golf course views while you dine.

What a great place to celebrate a special birthday with friends . Great service. Whitney and Dave were always responsive and really helpful. The food was great and the place has beautiful patio . We combined the lunch in the restaurant with a private golf lesson to everyone. They had a blast ! I was surprised how well they organized everything.

Wow that was fun. Beautiful vista of golf course to see while dining. Nice staff. Go order your food, get a buzz when it is ready.
