We attend the lucky penny routinely and have a very pleasant experience and encourage friends and family to join us. But on this occasion it fell very short of pleasant. We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon our arrival and were greeted by a member of the staff that I can only assume was the food runner because she was not able to take a cocktail order. Once our server made her presence is where the experience began to take a nose dive. She appeared to be flustered and was not pleasant at all and seemed annoyed. Everything was rushed and before we could complete a request she was gone. Some might say they were busy or understaffed but there was plenty of open tables and wait staff walking around. In fact another table that was seated several minutes after us and was a larger party, got their food faster and were finished way before we were. Our server would make pit stops every once in a while and was in such a hurry each time we were unable to request things we needed. This by far was our worst experience at the lucky penny after numerous visits. We go there 3-4 times a month and sometimes more. I know people have bad days, and maybe this was one of them. We don't make a scene or cause a commotion to draw attention for better service and I don't usually give feedback on a dinning experience. But this one was bad enough for me to leave a review. Will we go back, yes, because the overall experience is usually pleasant. Not always, but not as horrible as this one.

Tia was an exceptional waiter. So impressive and attentive to our specific needs when ordering

It seemed like our server was just having an off day, which isn't typical of our experiences at Lucky Penny. She felt a bit rushed with us, and she accidentally spilled water on my shoes and later on my lap without acknowledging it. We usually sit at the bar and always have great service, but today we were outside for a girls' lunch. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for her.

This is the 2nd time at this Place and the experience was very good. The RedRock casino is beautiful too.

Management and service staff were great, as usual, and keeps us coming back despite some of the negatives over which they have no control. The Salisbury steak was gag-worthy! What was a great dish has been degraded to a very thin, dry patty that literally gets stuck in one's throat! There is very little gravy to lubricant the overcooked meat. Horrible! The Chicken Parm was good but the spaghetti sauce lacked body or flavor. Ketchup would have been a more refined choice. Both dishes were smaller than their former iterations and more expensive. If not for the staff, this meal would have been our last

Food was excellent, ambience fine, service beyond awful...wait staff less than pleasant and we had to ask for things constantly and it took over 30 min to get our food, eggs and pancakes, not a lengthy cook!

Come here every year in January for a business trip and this restaurant never disappoints.

I ordered rare prime rib and I believe they sliced a piece of raw meet and then grilled it instead of cutting off a slice of a roast. My partner ordered the Christmas dinner special of ham and scalloped potatoes. The ham was dry but the potatoes were good. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. They kept saying there were a lot of orders but I counted 5 empty tables just on one half of the restaurant. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but others were complaining too. The manager was/always is nice but a little disappointing since I go to this restaurant frequently.

We ordered food as precisely how we wanted. Waited for our food for an hour and 15 minutes. It was an unbelievable wait time for a nice restaurant like Lucky Pennys. It could be the waiter forgot to turn our order in or the cook people were negligent. Been coming to this restaurant for years and never had a bad experience such as this. We will not consider coming back.

This Restaurant is not a Fancy Place.. Nice but Loud and It is Cafe Food, although this was Christmas Day so There were Specials... Food was OK... Waiter was Rushed

We love Lucky Penny and dine in n a regular basis. However, this past Xmas menu, Ham plate was not good at all, it was dry. Prim rib was very tasty except broccoli. And service was not up to par, provided that it was busy. The food and service is always great but not this time. But we love Lucky Penny!

It seemed like there was not enough staff to cover the number of customers visiting on a holiday. Service was good but slow.

Steak was amazing, and the coffee is super fresh and delicious! Even though we dined on Christmas day, our server was very attentive and friendly with us

One of the best Hotel Coffee Shops I eat at. The ambience, service, food and drinks is simple but enjoyable as the Chef's are great and fast. We can never be disappointed at the Lucky Penny Cafe.
