A nice self-service restaurant in the pedestrian zone. There is more standing room on the lower floor and quiet seating upstairs. You can also buy different coffee roasts.

The go-to coffee shop in Mountain View. Consistently great lattes, particularly a half-sweet hazelnut latte. Good selection of beans for purchase, with roast levels being on the lighter side. There's not a lot of room on the first floor to stand and wait for your drink, however it's a historical building so I don't see that changing any time soon. If you haven't been to Red Rock in quite some time, it's worth a revisit!

The Gibraltar was my first and it was spectacular.Rich, velvety, smooth…. I felt downright decadent and indulged. All while standing in a very standard comfortable neighborhood coffee shop. The service was excellent and subtle. The coffee was perfect. It was just the right size, just the right amount of bold. I felt like Goldilocks - this coffee fit me just right.Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians and pescatarians. OK for vegans.Dietary restrictions: They have many alternative milks, but only one sugar-free flavor vanilla. No low-carb options. Minimal gluten-free options. High chance of cross-contamination.Kid-friendliness: It is as kid-friendly as any standard coffee shop I’ve been to.Wheelchair accessibility: The counter height might be a little awkward for someone in a wheelchair. It is very high, even for someone standing.

Had just cappuccino here but the vibe was great. You go to the 2nd floor and i liked the vibe. Lots were working there and it felt nice. We went as a team and talked for an hour with coffee in our hands. It was fun. They seem to have board games etc planned though I didn't attend any of those. Would surely come again.Coffee was good too.

This is the cutest coffee shop with two levels, and I love the upstairs which is cozy, crowded but vibrating with life. The coffee is really good and if you’re in Mountain View, this is the place to hang.

Visiting this place for the past 5ish years Espresso based drinks are amazing, Gibraltar is a must try! Second floor seating is best for focus time and I always enjoy working here. Try the pastries from Midwife and the Baker, especially the almond croissant. Parking is close by.

The best coffee place ever! Thank you so much team, keep doing amazing job!
Mostly 4.5 stars coffee but the quality is a little variable, depending on the barista. Sometimes the milk for the lattes aren't steamed hot enough. My wife often requests "extra hot" but even then it doesn't always work.Update: new cashier almost turned my order which started with a "I need to be caffeinated!" preamble to a decaf. Listen when they repeat the order back!
The manager, Jean, was extremely rude. If not for her attitude and condescending demeanor, my experience here would have been far more pleasant. Given that there are many other coffee shops around this area, I would rather support other local business who provide better services to their customers. I will not be returning.

If you miss the second floor it becomes a 3 star cafe. But it’s much more.
