Everything was excellent, just not sure of the value for money. Nothing was extraordinary enough to justify the high prices. Everything was certainly well above average.

Amazing — with a capital A! Easily the best restaurant in Mountain View. Dinner was outstanding from start to finish: miso-glazed salmon with black spiced rice and peanut coleslaw, cider-glazed pork chops on rösti, and pesto tagliatelle with house-made ricotta. The local wine selection was excellent, and the desserts — especially the chocolate pot de creme and apple fritter bites — were simply irresistible. Exceptional service made the evening perfect. Thank you!

We had received an email from the restaurant promoting their fried chicken so we went to try that. It was quite good (maybe a little salty but not enough to spoil the taste). Our meal was very good as were the wine and our drinks. And our server was terrific!

It's a large restaurant, clean and modern, cosy inside the booths. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. There were very few other diners, so it was quite eerily quiet. The food was quite stodgy, boring and honestly not $50 for an entree level of cooking. Don't plan on returning.

Terrific food, beautiful dining room and excellent service. Overall, a very polished restaurant.

Even were treated to an experimental ‘fall cocktail' to try out. Fun experience, great service, lovely place.

Very nice ambiance, but food was only average. I had lobster roll and my wife had the scallops. She thought they were a bit salty, but I tried one and actually liked it. Lobster roll okay. Service good for the most part except at end of meal. They brought the check just as we were finishing dinner and before we had even had a chance to look at the dessert menu! A pretty big oops! Can't say I wouldn't go back, because I do like the ambience. But will not be in a rush to do so.

3 VERY small, overcooked scallops on an unappetizing mound of puréed peas. Dining companion had the pork chop that he deemed ok. The crème was outstanding - and our server was great. We've been to Scratch many times and really enjoyed it - this experience was very disappointing.

Delicious dinner at Scratch! The Brussels sprouts were crispy and tasty, the filet mignon was tender, and the scallops were light and perfectly cooked. I ordered a piña colada that came with an alternative rum (didn’t know and personally not a fan). My server was super kind and quickly fixed it for me. Both she and the front desk lady were so friendly and welcoming. Great food and even better service!

Went for drinks and an appetizer. The drinks order was incorrect and poor showings for signature standards. The food was poor especially for the price.
You will always be able to find a seat at any hour. No one goes there which is tragic for the incredible space, atmosphere, and location.

Lobster is phenomenal. Rotisserie chicken was very juicy and cooked perfectly. Food was out in a timely manner. Staff was helpful and attentive.

Atmosphere was absolutely wonderful - shared an expansive private booth. Customer service was amazing - attentive, informative and yet not disruptive. We had the halibut and it was flavorful, flaky and divine! Would definitely recommend...
