Inoffensive and pricey. If you're a good home cook you won't be impressed (seared scallops, beef short ribs and sauteed mushrooms, rare duck breast etc). These are things a good home cook can make, and at a good restaurant they can be excellent, but the level here is equal to or below that of a good home cook.

I'm Japanese and even for me I thought it was underseasoned.

A great choice for a relaxed evening out. I had an excellent time at Scratch—the vibe is energetic yet still comfortable enough to hold a good conversation, thanks to the warm lighting and clean, modern design. We chose the patio, which made the experience even better. Their cocktails are well-crafted; the house martinis and the “Scratch” Bloody Mary are worth trying if you’re there earlier in the day. Thank you guys for the great service.

Food is good but service is not consistent. The fried chicken is a must try. However, menu are mostly fried and grilled food, for people cannot take too much of those food may have issues.
