Hello,

I am a regular customer who works in the Bay Area, and I often visit gas stations and Starbucks locations to order coffee and occasionally request a small tea pot of extra hot water to make tea. Most of the time, I have never had any issue with this. The staff at other locations are usually kind and helpful.

However, on my most recent visit to a Starbucks store in the Bay Area, I requested a cup of hot water after ordering coffee, but the employee refused to give it to me. The store was not busy at all — there were no other customers waiting, and the staff member seemed available — but she still said no.

I felt confused and disappointed, especially because this has not been a problem before at other Starbucks locations. I’m not sure if this is a store-specific policy or a new rule, but I wanted to share my experience in case there is a misunderstanding or inconsistency in how customers are treated across stores in the Bay Area.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you can look into it. I still enjoy Starbucks and hope for better service in the future.

Sincerely,

Service: 1

I was in the area for a meeting and stopped here afterwards to relax a bit over coffee. The wifi worked very well and I noticed that they had a few sandwiches available.

There was a guy working there and he was so rude.
Never have I ever experienced a worse costumer service and coming from me that’s crazy

. I'd prefer to purchase additional espresso from this shop on the grounds that the espresso is flavorful and the climate is acceptable. They have tracked down an extraordinary, affable, and inviting staff.

That was the cheesriest, friendliest, and most efficient barista in memory. Holding down the fort solo, too. Thank you!

Pretty lousy coffee quality as in all Safeway's Starbucks. Also there is no place to seat. Next corner Starbucks had a nice normal coffee shop but they have closed it recently and without a notice.

Not a bad cafe. Good coffee and service.

I come to this Starbucks maybe once every two weeks. I found the customer service here to vary a lot depending on who is serving. Sometimes it's super friendly, sometimes it's cluelessly chatty, sometimes it's cold shoulder nasty. For example, my child & I were there this morning. There was no one in line but I still waited a good 5 minutes before being served. First, I asked if someone can take my order & was told to wait while one person finish putting the previous order into the oven & the other person finish re-stocking the shelf. After a good 4 minutes wait, my kid asked me why we are not being served. I could not help myself by replying loudly that the staff were busy & we had to wait. I got the staff rolling her eyes at me for that comment. Just lovely. Comparing this Starbucks to the one at Rancho shopping center nearby, where the staff are friendly (they all know my name), efficient (they know my order), the recruiting at this Starbucks just doesn't make any sense.
