Food truck hide away in a small parking lot. Love the energy and friendly service. Price seems reasonable. Wait was about 15 mins from ordering to receiving the food. We ordered beer battered halibut and southern style red snapper to go.The halibut was delicious, fries were spot on. Not sure if the tartar sauce was homemade or not, but it’s very good.The two stars off is cuz the red snapper was so stinky and didn’t seem fresh, which was a let down. It was disappointing...
The Cookout was at a walkathon in Los Altos. Have the spot a try and picked up their cod and fries... and DAYM! Hella good! The food was great! Big Cod chunks and steak style fries. Haven't tried the litter items on the menu but definitely get the cod and fish.
