Spicy dry pot never fails to satisfy, with just the right amount of heat. Their bone broth is great too, and the ingredients are abundant and of great quality, each ingredient is cooked perfectly. Theres a minimum of 1 lb of ingredients and I find that’s just about right for 1 person, personally. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

The first time I ate it, I almost died. After eating at noon, my stomach started to feel uncomfortable in the afternoon, and I continued to have vomiting and diarrhea in the evening until midnight. I almost fainted and it was extremely difficult to even walk. What kind of rubbish hotel is this, do you want to kill people? ! How bad must management be for such a simple thing to cause such serious hygiene problems? ! Close down quickly and stop harming people.

Polite staff and good food with plenty of options to choose from! Price per person varies on how heavy your bowl is.

Not a fan of this location, I’ve been to the San Mateo one first and this one has many weird rules, they won’t let eat unless you more than 1 lb of food, they make you pay after with tip, and they won’t let you split the bill. All these weird rule doesn’t exist in San Mateo location. Won’t come again.

The best Malatang restaurant in South Bay! The ingredients are very fresh and the spicy broth is so flavorful. I can literally come here every single day.Note: I tried YGF Malatang too but they are definitely not as good as Zhangliang.

One of our favorite Malatang places in the Bay Area. The soup is not really spicy though.

Pretty solid, interesting experience where you pick whatever ingredients you want and then are charged by the weight. Lends itself to some second guessing if you think you're getting your money's worth though, since you might forego some ingredients if you think it's not worth it.Got the mushroom soup base, it was a little salty but went well with the ingredients. The self serve sauce bar also lets you make up for any missing flavors. Also it's gets pretty busy around lunch so be sure to check in on yelp wait-list in advance.

Came at 12 on a Sunday, 5 mins later there was a line, so I'd recommend joining the wait-list beforehand. It's a pick-your-own-ingredients hotpot place. $15 for one pound of food (regardless of what you select), and extra charge based on a scale after 1lb. You get to pick your own soup base. I think it's more worth the price if you share. Mine weighed 1.25lb and it cost near $20. Tom Yum soup was yummy and the ingredients seem fresh enough.
