The Chinese food is good. But as a black American I don't get the freshest food ask the Caucasians. I get the meat that has hard spots that is not even edible. When I see the Caucasian man getting the best pieces of meat and when I come through it's a different thing and this is not the only Chinese place that does it. That's why I don't like eating at Chinese restaurants because I feel as a black American I'm not getting the best foods and quality of service like the Caucasian man. But I'm paying the same price as the Caucasian man. True business owners treat all the customers the same because all the money is the same.

Before running errands, kiddo wanted to grab some lunch and wanted a quick spot to grab some Chinese food. Searched and thought we'd check out Hong Kong Express. Hong Kong Express is a nice little mom-and-pop type of spot in a strip mall around the corner from where Stater Bros. is located., Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by a woman, who I'm guessing is one of the owners of this restaurant. Straight ahead you can see the various types of food that's made and you pick whatever combination you'd like. My daughter and I both picked combo C, which lets you pick 3 different entrees that come with chow mein and fried rice. My daughter picked spicy orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and their teriyaki chicken while I picked their regular orange chicken, BBQ pork, and sweet and sour chicken. Combo C is about $10 which is quite reasonable as their portions are quite generous! Other than our combos, we also ordered their crab and cream cheese wontons. Everything was made fresh, the food was filling and tasty and my daughter was asking already when we'd be back. The owner was incredibly nice and it was nice having a conversation with her about our kids. A nice family establishment with good prices? That's definitely a plus! We shall be back when in the area.

Had sweet & sour chicken with chow menu , good flavor , good service, but the chicken was few hours old a tad dry, again good flavor But chicken needs to be fresh , noodles were delicious.

When I'm in the Area I always come here for there Special house fried rice! ? it's amazing and the food and service are Remarkable!

I asked to have soup without shrimp in it as per my allergy and was told that I would need to order and pay for a new soup because providing an additional serving would cost them more money. I was told this by the female manager. I was not requesting to replace a wagyu steak, but soup......Terrible customer service and cheap business practices. Also, the food in and of itself has very little flavor.
Absolutely disgusting and inedible! Unfresh, overcooked garbage. The guy ripped me off charging for double egg rolls. When I questioned him about it he suddenly couldnt speak English. Save your money and time!

Portions are huge and great service ! The food is flavorful and authentic. I went here for the first time the other day and i think this has to be murrieta's best Chinese food spot !
