Wonderful, home style vietnamese food. It tastes like it was cooked by a mother that loves you. The crispy egg noodles are divine. Pho broth is complex and delicious. The bite that really surprised me and lit up my brain was the crispy eggroll with the fish sauce and vinegar. So dang good. Such a sweet family running a great business. Will be going back.

Having moved from the Baltimore/DC area, great phô is a staple for our family and after moving here nearly a year ago, we have been craving really great phô.
The selections in this area aren't very plentiful and I was relatively disappointed in the last 2 restaurants I went to.
Phô Dao was a breath of fresh air.
Like any phenomenal family-owned Asian restaurant, the effort was definitely focused in the food. The restaurant is cozy when you walk in. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is that of an old school corner restaurant with no fluff.
We ordered the phô tai chin (brisket and steak) as well as pork and shrimp spring rolls.
These are super classic dishes that can be pretty lackluster if you go somewhere that doesn't care much.
The phô was incredibly flavorful. I was able to taste the full spice profile I expect in a good homemade, full-of-grandma's-love dish. The fragrant spices and perfect balance of savory, sweet, and refreshing. The broth was beautifully clear and packed a hefty dose of delicious. The portion sizes of the small bowls we ordered were hefty! Enough to feed the hungriest teenager and have some left over.
The spring rolls were bright and refreshing. The peanut sauce was perfectly balanced with hints of garlic, sweetness and the nutty delight of peanuts.
My teens and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
My oldest child has to avoid gluten for medical reasons and the staff was very accommodating with my questions for ingredients and offered a lot of help with what would be safe or not for my daughter. Phô Dao is a great option for people who need to be gluten free.
Needless to say, this is our new go-to for our phô cravings.
We can't wait to go back and try their banh mi, stir fried noodle dishes, and other Vietnamese culinary adventures.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. A friend recommended this pho spot. I placed my order for pick up. I ordered #5 - which is rare beef, tendon, tripe and brisket and an order of spring rolls. The portions were great size and filling. I enjoyed both the spring rolls and soup. The service was quick, and it was easy to place my order via phone call. My picture doesn’t do it justice because I put my soup in a baking dish, since I don’t have large bowls. It was delicious and I will definitely be coming back. the location is right off the freeway which was convenient for me.

This is me and my son's go to place!!!!! food always fresh and FAST. owner and her son know what we get and brings it out within 5 mins! it'll be months since the last time and they always greet us like family and remember our same order !!!! will never go anywhere else in town!!!!

Hmmmmm. This is gonna sound bad. Well I had just about finished my meal and I heard what sounded like a cat cry out. Now not to even mention the health issues but this made me uneasy. So we stopped eating and went to pay our bill. I asked the cashier who had just spoken to my wife if the had a cat as a pet. He claimed he doesn't understand what I'm saying but he doesn't have it. Oooohhkaaay!! So I paid my bill and left. Don't think I'll be going back.

Loved the pho and spring rolls here! The food is great, the pho had a great noodle/soup/meat/garnish ratio, the spring rolls were really delicious and the meat was nice and tender:) And the atmosphere was nice and chill, we came with our baby-toddler and the staff and other patrons were super nice. 10/10 would recommend:)
