It was our first time at Pho Dao since we recently moved to the area, and it instantly became one of our favorite restaurants. My husband and I ordered the #7 along with the egg rolls, and my mother had the #3. The broth is incredible. so rich and flavorful. I also loved the chili oil so much I had to take one home! The staff is amazing, very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Can’t even make a phone order lady is so rude
This is a hidden gem! It’s a warm, family-run spot where you can feel the pride they put into everything they do. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely delicious, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. A wonderful place that combines heart, flavor, and hospitality—highly recommend!

I would had given 5 Stars for everything however one of the Servers sat right next to me FACING ME when he saw I was done.Do ppl dine and dash or something, the server that helped me was Great and I told him how I go all the way to La Jolla for Pho and I even tipped him $5 but I saw the other just put it in the register after I told him to give it to my server, why didn't I hand it to him because he walked away.Food was Great but I will never go again because he offended me and that was rude.AND on top of that I ordered food to go.AGAIN GOOD FOOD but I will not be returning.

My wife and I came here yesterday for the first time, and I don't know why we didn't come sooner! This place was fantastic! Kenneth and Tony were extremely attentive and informative about the dishes. They even brought out some fresh jackfruit for us to try!
I got the Beef and Brisket Pho and my wife got the Vegetable Pho, both were incredibly delicious! They felt like something your mother or grandmother would serve you to make you feel better! You can tell this place is family owned and they have a lot of pride in their food, as they should! They crispy eggrolls were incredible and definitely home made! We even bought some to take home for later.
Thank you Pho Dao#1, you now have two more regulars that will be coming back very soon!
PS: Don't forget to try their homemade chili paste and sauce, they are both delicious!

Wonderful, home style vietnamese food. It tastes like it was cooked by a mother that loves you. The crispy egg noodles are divine. Pho broth is complex and delicious. The bite that really surprised me and lit up my brain was the crispy eggroll with the fish sauce and vinegar. So dang good. Such a sweet family running a great business. Will be going back.

Having moved from the Baltimore/DC area, great phô is a staple for our family and after moving here nearly a year ago, we have been craving really great phô.
The selections in this area aren't very plentiful and I was relatively disappointed in the last 2 restaurants I went to.
Phô Dao was a breath of fresh air.
Like any phenomenal family-owned Asian restaurant, the effort was definitely focused in the food. The restaurant is cozy when you walk in. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is that of an old school corner restaurant with no fluff.
We ordered the phô tai chin (brisket and steak) as well as pork and shrimp spring rolls.
These are super classic dishes that can be pretty lackluster if you go somewhere that doesn't care much.
The phô was incredibly flavorful. I was able to taste the full spice profile I expect in a good homemade, full-of-grandma's-love dish. The fragrant spices and perfect balance of savory, sweet, and refreshing. The broth was beautifully clear and packed a hefty dose of delicious. The portion sizes of the small bowls we ordered were hefty! Enough to feed the hungriest teenager and have some left over.
The spring rolls were bright and refreshing. The peanut sauce was perfectly balanced with hints of garlic, sweetness and the nutty delight of peanuts.
My teens and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
My oldest child has to avoid gluten for medical reasons and the staff was very accommodating with my questions for ingredients and offered a lot of help with what would be safe or not for my daughter. Phô Dao is a great option for people who need to be gluten free.
Needless to say, this is our new go-to for our phô cravings.
We can't wait to go back and try their banh mi, stir fried noodle dishes, and other Vietnamese culinary adventures.

It wasn't what I expected when I told them what I wanted they direct me across the street to another place like theirs I don't have photos cuz I didn't eat there
Tried this restaurant for the first time. A friend recommended this pho spot. I placed my order for pick up. I ordered #5 - which is rare beef, tendon, tripe and brisket and an order of spring rolls. The portions were great size and filling. I enjoyed both the spring rolls and soup. The service was quick, and it was easy to place my order via phone call. My picture doesn’t do it justice because I put my soup in a baking dish, since I don’t have large bowls. It was delicious and I will definitely be coming back. the location is right off the freeway which was convenient for me.
