Very pretty Persian themed winery and wonderfully designed. Highly recommend visiting it!!

Pretty poor testing experience. They really should hire or reconfigure their testing experience. Having a host cover multiple parties at once, reusing the same glass for each wine serving, leaving past guests’ card information, and not having the food come at similar times to the wine pairings are all things they can improve on. Plenty of places in Napa that provide a better tasting experience and wines.

My childhood best friend and I visited Darioush Winery for our 32nd birthdays and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The atmosphere, the service, and the wine was all superb. A special thanks to Marta who helped us throughout our tasting. She is purely excellence. Will be visiting again in the future!

We were here for our honeymoon and stopped by Darioush winery for a tour/tasting. This winery was so beautiful and full of amazing history. Our guide Farid Z was incredible. he was so kind, informative and gave us such a great tour. We ended up getting 3 bottles of different red wines to go as they were all delicious. Highly recommend to stop here in Napa as it was 100% worth it. Beautiful scenery and the staff was fantastic.

Darioush Winery is truly one of the most prestigious and luxurious wineries in the world. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with elegance, sophistication, and an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming. The architecture is breathtaking, blending artistry with timeless grandeur, setting the perfect tone for the exceptional experience that follows.

The wines are of the highest caliber—rich, refined, and full of character, each bottle telling a story of craftsmanship and passion. The attention to detail in both the tastings and the presentation makes every moment unforgettable.

The hospitality is impeccable, with a staff that is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely dedicated to making guests feel special. Every aspect of Darioush reflects class, luxury, and excellence.

An absolute must-visit destination for anyone seeking the pinnacle of wine culture.

Darioush Winery is one of the best wineries in Napa if not the best. Probably the best. I've been a member over a year and I plan to continue my membership. Jacob from the guest services offered the wines to us and he is really nice.

The Persian heritage comes through as the visitor travels through the less spoken roots of the old world grapes like Shiraz reborn under the bright California sun.

Very knowledgeable and kind people and incredible wine take you to a happy place and your soul rejuvenates during the brief time you spend here.

Absolutely wonderful experience overall.

My wife Lisa and I went to multiple wineries during our recent trip to Napa and all had something worthwhile to share, but Darioush stood out for the following reasons:

1. The wine was the best tasting. In many wineries, there’s lots of good wine to sip, but it’s rare to finish all of the samples. At Darioush, the wine was so delicious I couldn’t help finishing every drop. Every single one was fantastic, and we bought bottles of the Viognier and the Shiraz to take home with us.
2. The sommelier, Mark, was one of the friendliest and certainly the most knowledgeable guide we met. He spent lots of time with us, showed us around, and taught us an amazing amount of information. We wanted to tip him, but company policy stated that we couldn’t! The company has high ethics.
3. The owner, Mr. Darioush, is a truly remarkable human being. He accomplished very much with his life, both in Iran (his original home) and in the US (where he had to start from scratch to build his successful business). But he’s not only a good businessman; he’s also an honorable person who does good for others. Though we didn’t have the good fortune of meeting him in person, Mark gave us a beautiful description of him.

We strongly recommend visiting this winery!

Visiting Napa Valley is always a treat, but every so often you discover a winery that not only lives up to the reputation of the region, but creates an experience that feels personal, elevated, and unforgettable. That was exactly what my wife and I experienced at Darioush Winery. From the moment we stepped onto the property, the aura of the place an elegant blend of grandeur and warmth set the tone for what would become one of our favorite wine-tasting experiences in Napa.

The architecture and setting immediately drew us in. Darioush has an atmosphere that is both regal and inviting, with details that transport you to another world while still grounding you in Napa’s charm. The space is beautifully designed, blending Persian-inspired elegance with California vineyard sophistication. The moment we walked in, we felt a sense of calm, as though we were about to step into something special. And it truly was.

The wine tasting itself was exceptional. Every pour carried a story, and each sip revealed layers of craftsmanship and care. The staff guided us through the tasting with an attention to detail that was both informative and approachable. They had a way of making the experience feel tailored engaging us in conversation about our preferences while also sharing the history and philosophy behind the wines. It was clear that the winery takes pride in not just producing incredible wines, but also in curating an environment where guests can fully appreciate them.

The wines themselves were nothing short of stunning. Each varietal seemed to capture the essence of Napa while also offering something distinct. We both found ourselves leaning into the reds, particularly the Cabernet Sauvignon, which was bold, rich, and perfectly balanced. The whites, too, held their own, crisp and refreshing without being overly sharp. It felt like every glass we tried deepened our appreciation not just for Darioush, but for the artistry of winemaking itself.

What made the day even more memorable was the vibe among the guests. Napa wine tastings can sometimes feel rushed or overly formal, but here we found ourselves mingling with fellow travelers from all over. The atmosphere was social in the best way easy conversations flowing as smoothly as the wine. Sharing thoughts and reactions with others added another layer to the experience, reminding us how wine can connect people across backgrounds and stories.

We enjoyed it all so much that by the end of the tasting, the decision to become members felt effortless. The quality of the wines, the warmth of the environment, and the sense of belonging we felt all combined to make it an easy yes. We’re already looking forward to the idea of returning for the member barbecue, which promises not only great food and wine but also the chance to reconnect with the community we felt a part of that day.

Darioush is more than just a stop along Napa’s wine trail it’s a destination that offers the perfect mix of elegance, hospitality, and unforgettable wine. My wife and I left not just with bottles in hand, but with memories we know we’ll cherish. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on every level: ambiance, service, quality, and connection. Darioush managed to do all of that seamlessly.

Verdict: If you’re passing through Napa, do yourself a favor and visit Darioush Winery. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just looking to immerse yourself in the region’s culture, this is a place where the experience matches the reputation. For us, it was nothing short of amazing and we already can’t wait to return.

Nice place, I will rate the place because I don't drink so keep scrolling for wine taste (lol) but the ambiance, the structures, the energy, everything is just amazing, I felt like I was in another place not at Napa. I wish they had food as they have all the beautiful cooking books, hopefully one day day will. :)

I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Invitation Only tasting at Darioush, and I can confidently say it was worth every penny. While it's on the higher end price-wise, the experience delivered far beyond our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, especially by Farid, whose hospitality made the entire visit feel personal and meaningful. The experience offered a deep cultural dive that beautifully wove together the winery's Persian heritage with its Napa roots. The dishes served were inspired by traditional Persian cuisine and were flavorful, elegant, and perfectly paired with each wine.

Every sip and bite told a story, and the attention to detail was exceptional. We were so impressed, we decided to have wines shipped home and are seriously considering joining the club soon.

If you're looking for more than just a tasting and something immersive, intimate, and deeply memorable then the Invitation Only experience at Darioush is an absolute must. Ask for Farid!
