Had a nice time and enjoyed the food very much. 4 stars on food because none of the food wowed me. They transitioned from sushi course to dessert with the dark miso which was not quite right for me.
A perfect representation of what Japanese cuisine offers! I’ve had a lot of similar style food in the states but nothing like this. I am happy that I found a true gem hidden away in napa valley.
After we sat down we were informed that the restaurant would not be able to accommodate my daughter's gluten sensitivity. Oddly, a week before our reservation, the restaurant contacted me asking about her food sensitivities (we had dined there three times previously) to which I replied that she still had issues with gluten and shellfish. They responded that they looked forward to seeing us so I know they received it. The gentleman who informed us was polite when he told us...
