We don’t usually buy wines to bring home (cause we live in the bay, there are lots of good wine accessible to us). We ended up getting 2 bottles of our favorites— perfect for Christmas to share with family. Price ranges from $40 to $130 per bottle.

As a person of color, I felt very welcomed and at ease. That might not mean a lot for some but others will surely understand. I ll be back when friends and friendly come into town.

My friend was visiting from out of country and this family-owned vineyard had come highly recommended from trusted people based on their own experiences and the uniqueness of the wines. When we got to the vineyard, we were amazed at how intimate the tasting setting was, nestled up against the vines with a beautiful display of their bottles. Derrick was a great blend of personable and professional, and it felt like having a tasting with a friend who told you all the best stories about the region and the wine. I also appreciated our discussion about diversity in Napa and the wine business.
The wines were delicious, fresh, and unique, and we definitely left with a bottle. I'll be ordering some more really soon AND I'll be going back there with more visiting friends.

We visited many wineries during our time in Napa, and the communal feel of Matthiasson as well as Derrick's dedication to customer service made this our favorite.

While I stayed in San Francisco, I decided to wine teasing, and this was one of many wineries we picked. The place was excellent, and the guy who explained everything about the wine was amiable and knowledgeable. If you want to try some good wine, come here you won’t regret it. It’s an outdoor seating where you can listen to the birds.

The location is secluded and this isn’t a corporate tasting. Highly recommended.
