Great place to go for a quick cheese board! They offer small and large boards so get your cheese and take a walk around Oxbow or long the close by river. Amazing service from the people who work there!
And I'll tell you exactly why it's worthy of a two hour drive. I had a friend come to town that is on a tight budget and still insists on paying for half. This old pal wanted to go on an old school picnic overlooking the river, and everything we could imagine was right there at the Oxbow Cheese & Wine Shop. A vast selection of quality products that are reasonably priced.5 stars all day long.☆☆☆☆☆
Expensive for the quantity. I wasn’t asked what cheese I preferred nor was I told what 3 cheeses had been chosen for me. Saying that, I did enjoy the hard cheese, but not the Brie as I don’t eat Brie at all.
Grilled cheese sandwich was good and filling, pickles, crisps and grapes on the side.
