Emily gave us a private tasting experience. She was welcoming and very knowledgeable. It is definitely an experience that I recommend stopping by and trying. All the wine was full bodied and bodacious. Emily was warm and accommodating. Thank you Quixote for allowing into your home!
This spot is in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. Its unique architecture was calling my name so we had to stop in for a tasting. The winery's building, designed by the renowned Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, is so unique. The history of Quixote Winery is as intriguing as its architecture. It was founded by Carl Doumani, a visionary in the wine industry. He Friedensreich created a unique spot with unique wines outside of Cab Sauv. Quixote Winery produces limited quantities of exceptional wines, with a focus on Petite Sirah.
We were on the Silverado Trail today and I happened to read about the winery designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. We spontaneously decide to go a little way into the hinterland on a beautifully laid out road.
Because our visit was at such short notice and we had not registered, we were unable to taste any wine as a tasting was already underway.
They kindly allowed us to look at the winery's wonderful buildings from all sides, which made us very happy. We will definitely register on our next visit. The great winery and the unconventional thinking and approaches are sure to create extraordinary wines.
Wow! What a find. We were instantly charmed by the architecture and beauty of this winery. Throw in the fact that they make very nice Cabernet's and even better Petit Sirah's and you have quite a winning combination. I look forward to going back on my next west coast trip for sure.
Great tasting, one of the best in Napa Valley! Lynn was fantastic!
The wines, atmosphere, and our host, Emily, were all fabulous. Emily was a great host, very informative and knowledgeable! It was amazing to learn about the wines and the architecture.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Quixote Winery, and it was nothing short of a captivating experience. The winery's architecture is a masterpiece in itself, setting the stage for a unique and memorable visit. From the moment we arrived, our host, Emily, made the experience truly exceptional. Her warmth, personable nature, and extensive knowledge added a layer of enjoyment to the tour. Emily skillfully blended information with entertainment, making the entire visit both informative and fun.The wine selection at Quixote Winery is impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the cabernet and Rocinante blend. Each sip was a journey through flavor, showcasing the expertise and dedication of the winemakers. The attention to detail in crafting these wines is evident, and it made for a delightful tasting experience.Quixote Winery is more than just a winery; it's a destination where architecture, hospitality, and outstanding wine come together harmoniously. Amazing wines and great winemaker! Robert really knows his stuff!
Went for a tour and tasting here with Patty! This was our first wine tasting, and it was a really intimate experience- just the two of us and the tour guide. After getting shown around the property, we got to sample some wines and cheeses. Really top notch product here! One day will be back!
Very boutique, interesting architecture and wonderful curation. All the wines were very delicious. Not your typical Napa experience.

I can't begin to say enough good things about this winery. We had an amazing experience here! Robbie, one of the wine makers gave us a tour of the barrel room and spent our entire tasting with us, going over in detail each wine we tasted. The wines were paired with a tasty cheese tray which were perfect with the wines. Each wine we tasted was phenomenal. The 2018 Cab was by far our favorite. If you like reds, I highly suggest this winery. It's one of the best in the valley.
Patty is great, very informed
Definitely a different style of winery. Architecture is very unique and one of the most interesting wineries in Napa. Service was great and everyone was super friendly.
The best winery I've ever been too. Patty is a must go to host when you arrive. Honestly say I've never been big into wine until we went to Quixote. It's a must in Napa!
One of the best wineries in napa and one of the best views of the valley!
