I highly recommend this restaurant. We ate here two nights in a row. It was that great. The food and service are amazing. Got try the famous Prime Rib.

My wife and I went for lunch on Monday great service as usual, the food was very bland very disappointing. This is the first time experiencing mediocre food.

Hubs and I headed here on a Sunday afternoon looking for that perfect prime rib. Our tastebuds landed us at Trancas Steakhouse which was open right at 11 AM We were one of the first people to get seated. The host promptly seated us at one of the taller tables and were handed to menus and their delicious iced tea with a basket of bread and butter. Hubs ordered a 12 ounce prime rib and I ordered a 6 ounce and to be honest comparing the two there wasn't much of a difference. We opted for a side of sauté mushrooms with mashed potatoes and veggies. Don't forget the mushrooms. Don't ever forget the mushrooms these are a perfect complement to the prime rib. perfectly. Definitely a good solid prime rib. I would definitely go back.

Recommended during a wine tasting while at the Backstage winery, this is a favorite for locals. Reasonable pricing but really high quality food. Will definitely be coming back.

It was Valentine's Day, so the place was packed. The roasted beet salad was wonderful. My husband had the pear salad and liked it enough to say he would order it again. The filet and prawns were cooked perfectly and the rib eye was just the way my husband likes it. Overall, the food was very good. And the service was very good considering the crowd. My only issue is the menu prices showing on OpenTable. The menu that came up through OpenTable was outdated on pricing. The actual prices at the restaurant were 10 - 20% higher than we expected from the OpenTable menu. I emailed OpenTable to let them know about the discrepancy, but I don't know if they will update the menu pricing.

Great local place for succulent prime rib. This steakhouse is very well known for it. It's the house that prime rib built! Their French dip sandwich is nothing to sneeze at as well. Highly recommended for a quick lunch or a nice sit-down, hearty dinner.

My party enjoyed our dishes very much everything was very tasty. It is pretty darn expensive. Next time I'll make sure there's no football game on, because the championships were playing and everybody in the bar were screaming...so that was a little disruptive on our birthday dinner celebration

Old world style prime rib restaurant. Good quality meat and portions for the price. Not fancy. Not modern. Just what you'd expect from a place that's been doing the same thing well for decades.

The food was very good. The service was terrible, waitress didn't refill water glasses, ordered a dinner salad that didn't come until finished with entree. Charged me for 2 salads on bill, told another waitress and the next bill was more than first after taking 2 salads off bill. Math doesn't add up! I enjoyed the food but service makes me say never again!
