One of the very best places to get guisados in San Diego. Here you can walk away, having these delicious stews stuffed into tacos or gorditas or both. I feel sad that I am seeing reports that this restaurant has closed (hopefully only temporary due to the COVID-19 pandemic), as it is one of my favorite "cheap eats" Mexican restaurants.
The Gorditas themselves were okay. They did not have what they claim to have. We went around 3 and they ran out of half the menu. A gordita is supposed to have cheese. Ours did not. The quesadilla was delicious. Was looking forward to an Agua Fresca which they didn't have.
Lady took way too long with our order. Refused to give a receipt. She had a rotten attitude. Es increible. Antes el servicio esta muy bien. We spent like half and hour there. The food took way too long to get to us and the order was the same.
My favorite gorditas. I really like the vegetarian gorditas.
We liked the sazon of the stuffing but eating those gordita are messy. Everything falls out.
The fresh Tortilla with cheese and carne asada call Machete was delicious
Something different than a regular taco shop. Hand made gorditas and aguas frescas. Food is good
