My family and I had a wonderful experience. The food, drinks, atmosphere, staff and price were on point. We definitely will be back to this restaurant.
We were on our trip to San Diego and the food was outstanding along with the customer service!! This restaurant was very clean and a relaxing environment! The interior is beautiful and unique. I give this place a 10/10!! It’s definitely a place to have a wonderful and delicious meal! We will be recommending this place to everyone that we know!!

Based on the reviews, Kimball Bar & Eatery is a great spot for a casual meal. The restaurant is bright, open, and airy, with bar and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is consistently fresh and hot. Popular menu items include the smash burger, waffle fries, and Irish nachos (a generous pile of waffle fries, chili, nacho cheese, and jalapeños). The malted waffle, very berry pancakes, and croissant sandwich are good for breakfast. The burger is very good, and the fries are next level. The crustless cheesecake is yummy. The happy hour margaritas are a favorite. Some guests noted the menu has become more limited, and the restaurant no longer serves seafood items like fish & chips, which disappointed some visitors. The draft beer selection is modest. Service can be a bit slow at times. Located next to the Best Western Marina Gateway and near the freeway.
