My go-to for all my lechon (ie pig) needs.

My aunt recommended Lola Happy Bakery (former name in National City) about 10 years ago. I have not used any other place but Lola.

Prices had gone up, like everything else in USA. Lola may not be the most inexpensive lechon place, but their name is to be trusted.

Coming to this location for over 40 years. Tonight is my first visit under the new ownership. I have always loved the atmosphere what our restaurant location brings. Our National City crowd has always been fun to enjoy a weekend evening of food and entertainment together. It's the reason the restos for over 4 decades thrived in this corner of Plaza Blvd. I am confident our hosts will carry on with the tradition of good vibes and filipino hospitality. 3 hour drive to National City arriving 5pm - I am buying the first round of beer for my friends I will be enjoying the evening with. Tonight is going to be alright 🤓🤘

Filipino comfort food at its best and very generous portions.. Recommended.

The staff is always friendly and the food is really good! We always order trays for family parties from them all the time. We even rented it for my son's graduation party.

We went to celebrate my grandmas who passed since it was her birthday. We got the food and it was not great especially for the price. We spent $20-$30 each of us for our food and the food was so salty and didn’t have a good taste.

Mainly Filipino food and a few Korean dishes. Great place to have a party and/or order party trays. Live music Friday and Saturday at 8pm.

Everytime I go back home to visit San Diego, I try to make it out to Lola's to enjoy some Filipino food. The good here never disappoints, as they offer many dishes and options. Their portions are very generous, as you can feed at least two or more people per dish.

In my opinion food was oily. Feels like the food we got was like left overs and not hot. Customer service is not that great, rude when we ask for help. I don't recommend going to this place other than Titas kitchenette down the street.

Me and my buddy were at this restaurant last month. All comments regarding the new owner are true. The owner need to learn more about customer service. Business with bad ownership doesn't last.
