Award winning Vegan wines!! Feel good about supporting and experiencing some amazing local wines from this boutique vineyard and winery that cares about what goes into the soil and the bottle.
Clavey wines are amazing, so full of flavor, we ended up leaving with...way too many bottles. Larry was so personable and knew so much not just about the wine but about the history of the winery and winemaker. Definitely a must see when in Nevada city!
We took a day trip to Nevada City and stopped here after lunch. The annual Mardi Gras festival was ramping up and Clavey was a great little place to have a wine tasting. Larry was very engaging and full of great hospitality and conversation. Turns out we are both from the midwest and shared some great stories. The wine is pretty amazing and reasonably priced as well.
