I live in the LA area and have traveled the world and eaten hundreds of different pizzas from various cities and countries. While in Nevada City visiting our daughter and her fiancé we found the food in that city to be mediocre at best. Except for the pizza joint. The pizza we ordered,great grandma pizza, was the best we ever had anywhere. What a delicious and delightful surprise! So fresh, so tasty with high quality ingredients and cooked perfectly! I picked up a thick slice of Grandmas special. OMG. Outstanding, and I usually go with Pepperoni. These people would know me by first name if I lived nearby. There's good food in Nevada City and this place is on that short list.

Finally a great pizza ?. Since our favorite place closed we couldn't find a good place to get a pizza. Now we found one.Parking: Typically Nevada City is a difficult place to find parking. Our way is to order ahead and bring someone to drive around the corner.
