The coffee was really goodđ€. The space has a personality and the food was good. On the other hand, the service left a bad taste in our mouths. Our expectation is not to make best friends with the baristas, but a professional friendliness. It wasnât just my husband and I in our 40s that felt that way, but also our teenagers. This is definitely a place to be careful of if you are gluten free.
Ordered two eggs my way, no toast because I'm gluten free. 20 minutes later my plate comes out with 2 pieces of toast. I sent it back saying the whole plate is contaminated, please start over. They did, it was reasonably quick and the manager came out to check if everything had been fixed. She even offered me GF toast (which I declined. My corn intolerance is kicking my butt recently)
