We had the pork chop and ribeye. They were cooked to perfection, and tender. Mushrooms were tender and a pleasant surprise to an average mushroom enthusiast. Give this place a try. We need more restaurants that bring love into their food at a fair price. The staff were all caring and delivered great service. Oh. And the desert. We did not need it but ordered the chocolate mouse. The flavors in the whip cream were surprising and exciting. I hope you give them a visit.

I ate in the bar some delicious food. The server was attentive. Bartender suggested sweet potato fries and the best I ever had

Wheelchair accessibility: I was able to park right in front and there was a ramp into restaurant. I just followed it into bar. Could have sat outside on the patio also

Went for my birthday. The food was delicious, especially the broccolini and shishito peppers. I ordered the ribeye medium rare, cooked to perfection. My only gripe, is that they charge $5 bucks for two small pieces of bread, for that price I was expecting something life changing, but the buns were dry and stiff...not worth it.

Amazingly fresh and delicious food. The chef recently overhauled and menu and it is some of the best food we’ve had in the area. The location can be a bit hard to park but inside is very quaint.

Great food in a lovely restaurant set along the creek. All I can say about the food is that when my son took a bite of his salmon panini, he closed his eyes in bliss and stoutly declared that he was in “Sandwich Heaven”. After I bit into my oyster and crab po-boy, I had to agree.

My partner and I recently had a wonderful brunch experience at Creekside Nevada City. From the food to the service and the ambiance, everything was absolutely amazing.

We were lucky enough to snag a table right next to the peaceful creek. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. Our waiter Ishmael was, without a doubt, one of the best we've ever encountered. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful, he kept our water glasses full and even went above and beyond, telling us about the access to the creek downstairs. We took him up on his offer, and he even captured a fantastic photo of us by the water – a wonderful memento of our brunch!

The menu itself was impressive. Often, extensive menus can be a red flag, but Creekside proves that you can have variety and exceptional quality. We opted for the fried chicken sandwich with delicious crispy fries, chilaquiles with eggs on the side (they were happy to accommodate my request!), perfectly seasoned broccolini, a refreshing gazpacho, and to finish it all off, a light and fluffy ricotta pancake that was pure heaven. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and we couldn't resist requesting that our waiter pass on our compliments to the chef and entire kitchen staff.

Overall, Creekside Nevada City provided a brunch experience that went far beyond our expectations. The delicious food, attentive and friendly service, and peaceful atmosphere with creekside seating made it truly unforgettable. Five out of five stars!

Soggy fries and slow service. We waited for almost 10 minutes to be seated, the place was empty. Server never brought the condiments we asked for

Incredible location on the creek. Incredibly friendly staff. Very good food. We will definitely be going back to hang out to have a couple margaritas and appetizers on the creek.

Wonderful job with the new menu, keep it up! Finally, the best location in Nevada City has high quality food. The wonderful ambiance (downstairs balcony is the best spot) and friendly, small-town service has remained a constant from Lefty's and TJ's but now the food is interesting and made from fresh ingredients. The oyster and crab po' boy is a highlight (especially since we lost Ike's) and the homemade vinegar chips are sublime. I can't remember the last time I had biscuits and gravy this good, but I'm pretty sure it was twenty years ago in Kentucky. The pricing is very fair too, especially for lunch and brunch. Really giving Lola and Holbrooke a run for their money...
This place has quickly worked it's way into our regular rotation.

Hats off to the chef, the food was beyond phenomenal! We went with a big group and split a bunch of appetizers, I’d recommend each and every one. We enjoyed the crab cakes, pork belly, broccolini, and shisto peppers. I personally got the wagyu NY strip, it was tender and delicious and I highly recommend getting the bone marrow butter on top! And you cannot have the dinner here without enjoying the desserts too, we enjoyed each one. The lemon tart with peaches on top was delicious and refreshing, the cheesecake was very light and flavorful it’s not a heavy one like a normal cheesecake, my second favorite dessert was the coconut yogurt mousse dessert it had fruit on top, but the chocolate pot de crème was by far my favorite, it wasn’t overly sweet but perfectly delicious in my opinion. I give the chef perfect 10’s all across the board for his food creations. I left here in a good coma because I couldn’t stop myself from trying everything we had at the table!

Amazing food. If you go you must have appetizers, entree, AND desserts. The staff were so helpful and the atmosphere was super inviting. I can also say that we weren’t the only ones feeling this way considering a group stopped us on their way out as we were walking in to give their recommendations in the menu and give the restaurant the recognition it clearly deserved.

Must have came on a bad night. Booked a reservation for a Friday night at 6:15 pm. Got seated in an empty room next to Broad Street that was not air conditioned. Waited for 20 minutes for a server and asked for the A/C to be turned on. Waited another 5 minutes for that to happen and another 10 minutes for a water and a menu. Two different parties who showed up after us left because of the wait. After over 30 minutes, our server arrived and informed us that there was a wedding party and that service would be slower than normal. Ordered appetizers and drinks and another 10 minute wait happened. Our original server never came back and we were helped by Anya, who was fantastic. When it came time to pay, after almost 2 hours, Anya brought our check but our original waitress cut her off and gave us another check. We tipped Anya instead of the waitress who never gave her name.
I understand a large wedding party may slog down service, but being ignored in a hot room for 20 minutes is a bit of a stretch. Especially with a reservation. The food was good but not worth the aggravation of another test of patience.
