We had a very nice meal at the Stonehouse on a pleasant Thursday evening. Locals that have been around for a while know how restaurants come and go at this location, this latest incarnation is very nice. This was the best meal we had over our weekend getaway to Nevada City. We had a drink in the bar downstairs while we waited for our table. The decor is spot on gold country. We liked the music playing down there so much we ended up Shazaming a bunch of songs like the Gen X dorks we are. Upstairs Skye was our server. The Stone House has become our favorite downtown location for a special dinner or casual drinks and superb bites.
