Our favorite restaurant in Nevada City! The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the "Live Music" is always great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're ever in the area.
The martini we had at the bar before our reservation was excellent! The bartender was great, too. When we were seated for our dinner reservation our waiter was initially great. Attentive and friendly. As it got busier, he disappeared. Our steak was over cooked, the mushrooms were terrible, and we got our salad after our main dish arrived. It was disappointing because it was our anniversary. We did let our waiter know and got 10% off the bill. I'd go back to the bar but not...
Appetizers were great, as were the entrees; Filet mignon was tender, and perfectly prepared and presented; House-made lasagna was excellent; Maui Pie and Creme Brûlée closed out the feast; Music, ambiance, and service were exceptional!
