They have a wonderful array of fudge, candies and ice cream. Personally I love their Nevada City Gold fudge and their caramel apples. The staff too are wonderful and always super helpful. I walk-in at least once a week.

I went to this place recently and I cannot begin to describe how rude the owners are! I was scolded at for accidentally brining in my grandson with a stroller and felt humiliated. I will never go back. Their candy is overpriced and their customer service is horrible.

The candy and treats in this store are overpriced. Also the employees treated me and my kids horribly. We were told there was one line down the middle and that we could not look at the food behind the glass from anywhere but the line. Made me feel like like I was doing something wrong just because I didn’t know better.

Never will I every go here again there rude they don't like children and they call people liars if there right a bad review. Everything is over priced. And they treat customers horribly.

Terrible customer service! The owners are very rude. They are unsympathetic to their customers issues and concerns.Side note: they have called many people liars for posting negative reviews and beg them to take down negative reviews rather than just apologizing.

My husband and I have gone to the shop all the time for years because we used to really enjoy it. But we will not be going back since tonight at the victorian Christmas, Our grandson ,who's only two , accidentally dropped his seven dollar piece of candy on the floor. when we asked for another one because he was so sad. One of the workers said ,"do you want to pay for it or do you just expect me to give it to you free. " Good grief clearly the candy only cost them $.25 to make and it was for a baby for goodness sake. Finally, after much complaining, she gave us one very rudely. Poor business etiquette

This is the rudest customer service I have ever experienced in my life they hate children they're way overpriced. And no one is friendly.

I went here tonight during the Victorian Christmas and I will never go back. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Their customer service is rude and condescending. They acted like myself and my small child were meaningless and our questions and concerns about the food were ignored. I bought treats for my children here and instantly regretted it due to the way I was mistreated. Also my elderly mother was scolded for bringing in a stroller by accident because she didn't see the sign. She left feeling embarrassed. Side note: anytime someone leaves a bad review the owner calls them a liar.

I have to say that I truly enjoyed my time in the shop. There are a few reasons why but one of the biggest reasons was actually the two girls that were working that day. Absolutely wonderful human beings. Sweet, personable, friendly, and just fun to chat with. They were very attentive to the customers as well which is always nice :-) This feels like an old-time candy shop that you would find way back in the day. I loved it. It actually reminded me of a candy shop that's in Columbia California but without the period dress. It's warm and inviting. There are quite a few different types of candy that you won't find at the grocery store. The required clove and blackjack gum are available as well :-) I saw the candy cigarettes that I have not seen since I was a little kid I didn't even know they made them anymore! They had a great assortment of gummies as well. This included the haribo happy cherries that have become far more difficult to find than really should be. They have quite a few different truffles but since I had just been to the travel shop I didn't purchase any here. What I did get was a variety of old time candies, gummies, a few specialty chocolates and the epic find of the day which were the most delicious Turkish delights I have had ever. I wish I knew the brand they buy! These were phenomenal. I just got the assorted fruit, I didn't try the rose flavor as it's not always my favorite in Turkish delights. However if it's anything like the fruit flavored ones, I bet it would be amazing. Much like the truffle shop I am actually glad this is an hour away from me because I would be here all the time and probably weigh over a thousand pounds because of all the sweet goodness. I will definitely make an effort to visit the shop more often however.

The chocolates were superb but the pumpkin fudge was to die for! 20/10 would recommend this place to family and friends. The icing on top of this experience: The girl with long hair behind the counter. She not only happily answered our questions but also provided such an exceptional customer service, I’d probably go back to Nevada City simply for this place and for her service.

I have been coming here for a long time as i used to live in Nevada City! It has kept its charm over the years with great chocolate...ice cream and nostalgic candy! Try the limited pumpkin ice cream...delicious! I love the chocolate gummy bears! They are located on Broad street (corner of north pine and Broad street). What a great selection of candy in bags, rolls and pick your own flavor of taffy‼️. The absolute favorite today was the delicious pumpkin fudge?. So many different chocolates to choose from with or without nuts. Candy from Germany, Italy and old fashioned candy that I haven't seen in 40 years. Needless to say I walked out with so many great sweets to choose from??. Jennifer who helped us was so personable and recommended various candies as I asked questions. The owners, Bill and Linda, are fantastic and so proud the the quality and variety they offer.

I have been coming here for years and it still has kept its charm! It is Located on the corner of North Pine and Broad street in Nevada City. I love coming in here after dinner to pick up a few treats! I love their chocolate gummy bears and toffee! There was a line for their ice cream...get the seasonal pumpkin ice cream in a waffle cone! Everything is always good and fresh! There is a few places to eat inside as well. I have brought friends here and they loved looking at all the selection they have..especially candy that they had not seen in years! The kiddos really like this place! If you are in for a treat and a "feel good" atmosphere than this is a great place. A bit expensive but you are paying for quality. Fun little shop! Love that they carry nostalgic candies..brings back childhood memories!

Horrible service. My daughter opened her candy and dropped it, seconds after buying it. We asked them if we could replace it and they said no. Leaving her in tears. They didn't even care. Left them a tip too. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop
