Nice spot along Hwy 20. We ate lunch outside on a Sunday in October and weather was perfect. We were waited seated and served quickly and wait staff were attentive. We were served one wrong item that we didn’t order- but our party was happy with it and all food delicious. Bathroom are clean and well maintained. Definitely going to come back and try other dishes.

I'm a self described BBQ snob and their Brisket was the best I have ever had from a restaurant! Delicious and great smoke flavor. Everyone loved everything that had especially the Mac and cheese! It was a hit. Great job 5 mile house!

Just stopped by the 5 mile house we had the brisket sandwich and some onion rings The brisket melted in your mouth. Awesome sandwich. Owner was very friendly coming back soon.

Our new go to stop on the way to Tahoe. Everything was outstanding: food, atmosphere, staff. We had the chicken tenders, veggie burger with Cajun fries, and tri tip plate. Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Husband raved about the BBQ sauce.👌 Very dog and kid friendly outdoor space!
