One of our favourite stops while in Nevada city that we came 3 days in a row - their Reuben is AMAZING. Best one we’ve ever had because they use a brisket-like meat. We also did their Italian sausage sandwich, their fried chicken sandwich (their Thursday special) and the Ham Standard. All of which were really good! Their service is amazing and they specially held 2 steaks for us to pick up 2 days later and the quality of the meat was just amazing! Highly recommend to stop before...
Ham Stand catered our wedding in Downieville and crushed it! Everyone raved about the food and Rose's team was extremely professional and well prepared. We're so grateful they were a part of our celebration. Sandos are also excellent in the store - we are lifelong customers!

They're running a pretty nifty operation there.
I'm happy to pay near $20 a sandwich to keep small shops like this in our neighborhood. The cost almost deterred me as I waited in line, but I'm really happy I got to experience that delicious Reuben.
Vegetarian options: I'm not sure if there are any vegetarian options, this place clearly specializes in processing meat.
