Great food, the restaurant definitely needs more attention in my opinion. The food was great, was full but not too full to the point I feel sick. The sides were also delicious. If you’re in the area, would highly recommend going here. Definitely worth the drive to try it.

There’s literally almost no one when we come to this place. We came here a couple weeks late from my grandma’s birthday since my parents are gone for vacation. I heard that this is a new Korean restaurant. There was another restaurant called K-Town BBQ, but it was replaced by Bae Go Pa KBBQ, which is not long ago.

This is a good Korean restaurant to go to if you want to get Korean BBQ. I believe that the lady who helped us cooking the BBQ happens to be the owner of the restaurant. She helped us since no one besides us is dining here at that time. Really appreciate that because there’s literally too much food. We ordered like a large set of food, that’s why. After all that, we weren’t able to finish the food, which does not include the sides which they usually get refilled.

I think they recently opened which is why rarely people come here, but I guess that it’s because they go to other Korean restaurants around Newark. This place isn’t as bad though. I highly recommend people to come here to avoid long waiting times and also the food too.

I highly agree with the reviews I've read, my first time there and what I ordered was absolutely delicious, this place is awesome and underrated I plan on returning soon. Thanks to the staff for the pride they take in preparing the cuisine.

This place is criminally underrated. Virtually no one in here but, phenomenal food. Nothing was overwhelming and you could taste each of the ingredients flavors, which is hard when dealing with spice.
Very pleasant staff, service was great. No complaints at all (outside of this place needs to be made more popular than it is) get out there and give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Amazing for its price point, which isn’t breaking the bank, again, another win in my book since California can be outrageously expensive. Please consider this place, we need spots like this. Good food at an affordable price.

I'm so confused- where are all of the customers? This place is fantastic! Came here twice now after hiking Mission Peak- really hits the spot! Great portions, high quality meat, really yummy sides. So strange that we were basically the only customers here at lunch on a Thursday- the food is so delicious. I would come every week if they were closer.

Nice remodeled Korean restaurant serving good traditional Korean dishes. It used to be old and drabby, but they remodeled the interior.

Portion sizes are decent. I think you can make a good meal from just ordering appetizers and pair with a soda or beer.

Seafood pancake was good as were the entrees we ordered , kalbi and grilled mackerel.

We'll return when we get the chance

Went to this restaurant an hour before closing. The 3 water cups they gave us had visible soap suds. We ordered 5 dishes, but the waitress forgot one of the orders. The tteokbokki was very watery, and had little flavor. We also ordered spicy chicken, which was flavorless as well. Food was subpar in general, and given the price, there are plenty of other Korean establishments to dine at.

There is something different and more tasty about the cuisine at this restaurant. I asked and it appears that the owner/chef is from the southern part of South Korea, so “Southern Cooking form South Korea?” I especially liked the Spicy Pork Bulgogi, nice bean flavor.

This restaurant felt so authentic, and the food is just a 10/10. Just their banchan alone was so delicious and the rest of my meal was even better.

lovely new Korean spot! Got to try the Bossam and soft tofu soup with beef and mushrooms. Bossam was quite tender and great with all the veggies and banchan. Very homey feeling with lovely servers. Authentic Korean experience
