Not too many places for Taiwanese food in the East Bay, so I am glad to find Chan's Kitchen in Dublin. We tried the classics: stinky tofu, sticky rice sausage, Taiwanese(tapioca) meat ball, oyster pancake, prawns noodle soup, beef roll/burrito, and stir fried sweet(oil) rice. Most were Ok, not the best I had, but the standouts were the stir fried sweet rice, which reminded me of my grandma's cooking, and the beef roll/burrito, although the portion is a bit small. This is a very authentic Taiwanese food. Although restaurant is not big. The menu has many choice from banquet to street food where Taiwan is famous about.The smoked duck is my favorite. You must try the beef noodle soup. Ask them about street food and try those dishes. You won't disappointed.

Authentic Homestyle Taiwanese foodBeen here with my Taiwanese wife several times and it's always been good. Always full of Taiwanese people. Highly recommend if you want to try something beyond just popcorn chicken and hotpot.
