The place is nice. They don't have a lot of variety and do not label anything on the buffet table. It is very hard to know what item is what. Not a lot of people are available to even ask so it is very hard. Besides that the food is good.

One of my favorite halal spot in the Bay Area! Clear halal signs throughout the restaurant and also got the owner to verify. Surprised to see a hijabi staff too! And I was pleasantly shown a prayer area for me and my family to pray.

Lunch is very good with good price. However, the reason I only rate 4 out of 5 is because I did have one bad experience. The food may run out with no refill. Otherwise it is super good. You just need to call before visit to make sure they have enough supplies.

Material were not consistent. I went few days ago. there’re fish fillets and I liked it very much. 2 days later, I went again and expected having fish again. But there’re no fish anymore because there’s no leftover from previous day. i was very disappointed.

A very nice hotpot place that isnt too expensive compared to 马路边边 in Milpitas! Prices are all you can eat so no need to calculate how many sticks or how much meat you've picked up as you're eating! You can either have individual hotpots (everyone must have the same soup base) or a group hotpot with multiple options including spicy!Dipping bowls are done as you get up and go to an area to prepare them. Theres soy sauce and sesame oil as well as many herbs and spices to enhance the flavors of the meat as you're done boiling and cooking them!Grabbing veggies, seafood and other stuff to boil is easy enough with a large plate that you can fill up.Meats are collected by a really cool robot waiter rolling around! Its unfortunate that they're frozen stuck to their plates but i love how their color coded to their meats! There is beef, pork and chicken you can select from! Get many as each plate is very small and wont fill you too much!Eat what you can, while i dont see a food waste charge, some foods can really fill you up more than you think!Human waiters also come around often to fill up the hotpot water and refill iced water! They're very nice to talk to and even recommend some stuff!

Very good hot pot in Fremont area!! Loved!!12/26/22 @4:15 p.m.Came here for my Birthday dinner with my family ? ~It's been awhile since we cameto Lavender Hot Pot. I always liked this place ~ due to covid indoor dining wasn't my preference...tonight it was pretty good. They didn't have mushrooms as vegetables ( my favorite is mushroom broth) few items are missing but it was overall good.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetables if you're vegetarian

DISHONEST AND SHADY OWNER WITH NO HOSPITALITY, NO MANNER AND NO CREDIBILITY, RE-SERVING USED FOOD. FOOD HAZARD. FAKE HALAL. False advertisement to call it #halal by the owner. They even serve #salami.

DISHONEST AND SHADY OWNER WITH NO HOSPITALITY, NO MANNER AND NO CREDIBILITY, RE-SERVING USED FOOD. FOOD HAZARD. FAKE HALAL. Your rudeness shouting "Stop eating!" and shady practice earned you a free 1 star thorough review that will forever be here to turn away countless customers and cost you revenue $$$ you will miss every week and every month. Before people pay this place a visit, read our authentic experience last week and this week. The owner of #LavenderHotpot SCAMS customers. Only 3 tables at 6:15pm on a winter Saturday at a hotpot place tells the unpopularity & reputation of the owner. "Come in before 3 and you can sit as long as you want" when I called on Thursday and again today (Saturday) in the first place. Why lie to get people to come in and then go back on your word? That shows the owner's character of dishonesty and shadiness. What a sad and pathetic place, the least popular hotpot in Bay Area nowadays. After living in Bay Area for more than 10 years, as a company dinner I took my staff here a week ago for the first time. The dishes were so so, but the owner's wife didn't bother, and the male server wearing glasses was very kind. For his kindness I came back today for the second time. Before I came at 2:50pm I specifically called to ask on Thursday and today, and the owner told me that "if you come in before 3pm we charge you at $19.99 and you can sit till 5pm or 6pm for as long as you want" to try to attract me to go there. This is what happened after I came. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but not too bad either. Nobody filled my water or cared to ask at all after I sat down. As the place was nearly empty even after 5pm, clearly I was not in their way of making money but rather helped them "look popular". To my surprise, the owner suddenly and rudely lashed out at me, shouting "Stop eating! you may not sit for more than 90 minutes! Or I'm gonna charge you double!" This all came out of blue suddenly, and clearly on none of their marketing material online or offline mentions the 90 time limit. The only reason was that he wanted to re-serve only the second plate of lamb I was about to have to other customers later (OTHER CUSTOMERS WITNESSED & COMPLAINED SAME, see screenshots) as I was trying to finish the last plate of food on my table without waste. The most pathetic and unprofessional part of the owner's behavior - the entire place had 3 tables at 6:15pm on a Saturday, but he wanted to kick me out for sitting there too long after trying to get me to go by saying "come in before 3 and you can sit as long as you want" before I went. Why lie to get people to come in and then go back on your word? Side fact: I wasted no food, and I never grabbed new dishes past 4:30pm. Me sitting there quietly and slowly finishing my dishes only made their restaurant look less embarrassing. I was there longer than I planned only because I had a family emergency situation that needed me to respond on phone in text for a while, at no extra cost to the restaurant with such an empty and unpopular place. If the owner's wife sees this review a good lesson at home is long overdue. P.S. I took notes of multiple food service safety violations. P.S. reported to consumer protection and food safety authorities. P.S. It is deliberate false advertisement to call their food #halal by the owner. Neither of their meat is halal. Some of their soup bases, seasoning oil in vegetables and self services spices have animal oil, which is likely pork oil. They also serve pork in lunch bento boxes. They even serve #salami meat, which is made of pork and of course not halal, sitting right next to desserts and vegetarian dishes. This is just one out of many shady and dishonest practices the owner of the restaurant does to cheat on customers. Someone will sue class action for misleading consumers.

I came in because it was close to where I was going so I decided to try it out. This place is one of the worst hotpot I’ve been to. I’m used to Haidilao quality kind of food so my review might be harsh. It is cheap for an all you can eat hotpot. I would suggest raising quality of meat and soup base at least even if it means charging a bit higher.

MENU AND FOOD: Lavender Hot Pot offers a selection of all you can eat hot pot meats, vegetables and more. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service was quick and efficient. The robot server constantly carry trays of meat around the dining hall for everyone to grab. They have indoor seating only. PARKING: They have plenty of parking in their lot. IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: I got to pick from their list of hot pot broths. I ended up going with the coconut chicken broth and waited for my other dishes arrived. There were a good variety of sauces, vegetables, noodles, rice, and desserts available for self-service. I tried to use the check-in discount, but was told it was no longer accepted. Overall the soup bases were a bit bland, and their meat quality was pretty average.

I'm not sure why people are complaining about this restaurant when u spend an affordable price for a hotpot buffet... Of all the hotpot buffets I had eaten in the Bay Area this one is definitely worth it...The music was chill and the servers were friendly.. A little robot was running all over the place to deliver lamb, beef, and chicken. (lamb was the best in all three). For the flavor, i’d say it's not the best for sure. It was okay soup base! However, this is a buffet! And I'm not expecting to have some food as great as other expensive hotpot restaurant..Anyway, there is one thing that may improve the experience is to upgrade the level of cleanliness in the restroom.Other than that All good!! We will be back!!

Love the autonomous robot delivering meats. The food was great, and the overall atmospheres so relaxing compared to many other places I’ve been there; not a big fan of loud hip hop or night club music while eating. The place has that old school feel from decade+ ago; love it.Prices are great; meat choices very much sufficient (lamb, beef, chicken, fish), lots of veggies, tofu skin and other great things to choose from.May not be the fanciest or the tastiest, but if you consider the price , atmosphere, etc it’s a solid A grade. Highly Recommended.Kid-friendliness: My little baby boy loved the place; they have all necessary accommodation for the kids. And if they’re under 3 it’s free.Parking: Plenty of parking; the place was not very busy/packed (I hope they get more business; they deserve it). Personally I don’t like crowded places so this was PERFECT

Family and I been comin to this spot for years. This is one of the classic hot pot spots. I can see things have gone down a bit “thanks” to Covid, but still tasty, great time and great bang for buck. One of the most soothing interior designs and music choices. I hope this place stays open and profitable for many years to come.

Budget friendly AYCE hot pot with very mediocre food Great that they offer 14 different options for the broth. Unfortunately the two we tried (no 7 coconut chicken soup base and no 6 tomato soup base) all tasted like water and lack flavors. Lamb slices are pretty good but the beef slices for sure do not taste like any quality beef I would come back only if we are looking for a cheap eat but definitely won't be here to get proper hot pot

The spicy soup base and lamb was decent. But they charged $20 for my 3 year old. I feel this is a ripoff because (1) she doesn’t eat much (2) although they charged $20 for kid, they didn’t provide a soup base for the kid. I think it would be more fair to charge half price (~$10) for smaller kids.
