Best hotpot in Bay Area

Driving from Nanwan, the time to join the waiting list is around 5:15 pm, and we will be seated around 7:45. I was so hungry that I went to Jiacheng Kitchen next door to eat spicy hotpot. The overall taste is good, the duck blood and the meat on the skewers are very fresh. I like the pickled beef skewers very much, but I am so useless. It is too spicy to eat just one. There is a lot of room for improvement on the small material table. All in all, it's worth giving it a try.

The service is good and waiters are nice and quick for serve. The best things are the self served food snacks and sweet soup. The meat quality is just ok average no surprise. The price is a little bit high since each meat plate only 10 slices but 10-13 dollars. Even though this price is not as good as Seattle hot pot, the overall experience is still good in SV area.

Jinroh is back! Had a birthday dinner here. Japchae and a variety of their offerings. A few things purportedly had fish (my allergen) and I didn't know, but I managed to eat around it and not get sick.

The experience was extremely poor. We both queued for an hour. After waiting for such a long time, there was a table that refused to let us eat. Five people who had just entered the store and had not queued were allowed to cut in and eat before us. I asked the waiter why they didn't use it as soon as we came in. We queued up and jumped in line before we ate. The waitress who took the seat said that there were many people, so there was no need to queue up. According to your regulations, why did you ask us to queue up and call our number? They made us wait for an hour and didn't let us eat. Such overbearing terms are so unreasonable. I will never come to Longmen Bay again. It's too overbearing and unreasonable.

Meat and duck blood were very fresh! A great variety of appetizers and desserts. The spicy hot pot used high quality of 牛油. Overall pretty good but a little pricy.

Not just for long menThis place was pretty popping on a sat night. We went for their half and half hot pot. The tomato broth was super tomatoey, almost like a light marinara sauce. The spicy butter came with two large blocks of butter in the soup. The veggies were fresh, meat was good quality. They have a lot of the more eccentric offerings, including blood, liver, and intestines. Their appetizers are not bad too, especially the sesame balls. I didn't like how they charged to use the sauce station. Also, the place is poorly ventilated and at some point the fumes from our pots and adjacent pots became overwhelming. Overall, decent spot especially if you like the more eccentric ingredients.

The waitlist is always super long, nobody greets/ talks to you the whole time & the "mild" spicy soup base was entirely too spicy and not enjoyable.. coming from a person who loves spice.

Very pricey. It is best enjoyed by four or more people as for hot pot you need variety but at the high price you can exceed $100.00 with just 3 meat dishes. Shewer meats are a waste of money. Vegatble dishes are extremely small in portions.Side snack bars are ok.Sauces are great.Base soup of Chicken flavor and mushroom flavor are very good.Place is clean but not much service by waiter after they bought the food.

Undoubtedly the best of the best hotpot in the Bay Area! I've been here multiple times, and each visit leaves my stomach blissfully full. The meat quality and hot pot soup are right on the money, delivering a flavor that lingers on your tongue.

This is without a doubt my top pick for a Chinese hot pot restaurant in the entire Bay Area, especially if you enjoy Chongqing-style hot pot. Their spicy broth is incredibly flavorful and has just the right level of spicy, but I would advise against going higher than medium spice if you aren't accustomed to Sichuan cuisine. The quality of their hot pot meats is consistently excellent, and their side dishes are also delicious. The restaurant itself is well-maintained and the staff are always attentive and helpful. We are regular patrons and have never been let down.

We came because we heard this was one of the best hotpot places in the Bay. It had a very very long waitlist so I recommend getting on it early. We ended up waiting on the waitlist for around 1.5 hours. I thought the food was very good. The meat was fresh. My favorite aspect of the restaurant though was the side dishes buffet that you're able to get for free. The free dessert-style soup options they have are great.
