Something in their tea weirdly sour. I just ordered nothing but A jasmine tea with boba and I shouldn't be hitting sour notes

First time coming here. This bubble tea shop is very quiet until the kids come here. I am quite concerned that the drink prices from the kiosk don’t match the ones from the menu billboard. They should update the billboard so customers don’t think that they are actual pricedThe bubble tea tastes good, but am disappointed that we get a 50¢ charge every time we add a flavor. It should be free until you want to add another one. The atmosphere is ok, but doesn’t really stand out.I don’t really plan on going back anytime soon, but this bubble tea shop is considered below average.

Stopping by for some boba before heading home, we decided to give Q Tea Monster a try as they were in the same shopping plaza as the restaurant that we were just eating lunch at. Ordering is done mostly via the self-service kiosk, as they only appeared to have one person behind the counter manning the registers and making drinks. Because it appeared to be a 1-person show, the drinks did take a bit longer to finally get made.Ordered a Taro Daydream w/ boba, which consisted of taro flavoring with layers of milk mochi. The drink was pretty good, and I really enjoyed the mochi layers. They however completely forgot to include the honey boba topping I paid for, so I had to go back in and request it. Would have preferred they simply remade my drink, but they instead opened my plastic seal, dumped in the toppings, and then re-sealed the drink.

Two honeydew milk teas that were horribly sweet and this being that we asked for 25% sweetness , Macha eggs puffs that were not puffy at all and a house special layered creep with old whipped cream. Love trying new places but this is definitely a place we will not be returning to.

I expect a bit of warm welcome but the way they handle me the drink and food was not at all, especially since the egg puff just came out hot and not much of a saying or warning. And, I was thinking of morazella cheese type for the egg puff to pull or cream cheese filling a bit but I could literally count the piece of orange shreded one (it taste fruity instead of cheesy so I dont even know.) It was not crunchy, very soft like pancake type and the taste was not up to my liking. 2/5The tea, cheese/crema and flavor (pineapple) was not good at all compare to the price. The topping: aloe vera felt not fresh as well. 1/5The decoration and the store upfront very nice so I really hope they could ajust the menu and flavor to make them worth the price.

Located just across Newpark Mall and next to Newark Memorial High School in the outdoor mall, you'll find a plethora of eateries and shops. Among the many places you can choose to dine, QT Monster is one of the few shops for boba drinks and the only one in the vicinity serving egg puffs. And egg puffs with ice cream! The parking lot is pretty accessible - plenty of easy to pull in spots. The mall is quite long so if you don't mind walking, you can park closer to whatever place you'll be at before or after boba. And if you come with a group, no fret! There are plenty of tables and chairs to hang out. There's free wifi too so great place to work or study. It was relatively quiet when we went in the middle of the afternoon. While we are on the topic of amenities, students get a 10% discount. Yes grade school students as well as college students! Just bring your ID if you look older than a typical high schooler.Tea is adequate. They use creamer like most places for their milk tea. Aside from milk tea, they also have fruit teas. I didn't get to try this yet, but they had a buy one get one free offer at the time. I'll need to come back to take advantage of that next time I'm in the area! The boba with their drinks are monster big. Some may consider them over cooked but they're still chewy and not too sweet. With each drink, you're able to customize ice and sugar level. It wasn't clear what the available levels were but no ice and half sweetness usually works for me!The egg puffs weren't as crispy as other places but you do get the waffle taste. You're also able to customize the flavor (cheese) and choose an ice cream flavor (mango) to go with it at an extra cost. The service is so-so. They honored the student discount but there was very little energy starting from the initial greeting (there wasn't one) to the order (very quiet and soft spoken). They did warn us about the dripping ice cream when they handed it to us which was appreciated.Overall, the convenience and niche as an egg puff shop is the big drivers for me. The execution of the drinks, boba, and egg puffs are decent but there are places a few miles away that serve better quality items with a bit more enthusiasm and at comparable prices. The special discounts they off are definitely welcomed and being in such an accessible area, I'm sure it helps bring in more business!

Nice place to get some boba, iced tea and other drinks. I come here every time I pass this plaza.Always good drinks and always a good service. I noticed there are not a lot people here, so come and try. Support local business! I highly recommend!

This place was on the way home and I was craving some milk tea so I figured I'd try it. This place is in a busy complex but still had some parking left closer to the milk tea place. Upon walking in, noticed the place was small, but had a couple tables and chairs in the dining room. They also had paper goods and other supplies in the corner of the dining area, reminds of the good ol' covid days.Notice a lot of younger crowd hanging out here, maybe it was the time I was there (not a clue) The menu was big, a lot to choose from. I picked the taro with mochi, 50% ice, less sweet. Seems like only 1 guy was working so it did take a bit for my drink as he was also working on maybe 6 other drinks. After I got it, took a sip and it was okay. It was very much like Quickly or Tapex with that taro powder flavor. The mochi was okay, i feel like they could've added more. What was the most upsetting is with even 50% ice, my drink was about 70% ice and was gone in seconds. Could it be that I just have no self control and tend to drink mindlessly? Or was it too much ice? I blame the ice. Overall, it's fine but I don't think I'll be back.

It's the worst boba place ever. I ordered passion fruit tea with honey boba and The Tuxedo (oreo oolong tea). The boba was warm and mushy. The Tuxedo tea tasted like water down oreo drink. They used coffee filters to cover the cup. It is so ghetto. See the attached photo.
