I did takeout from New Venus HK Café in Newark and was really pleased. The Shrimp and Scrambled Eggs, Chow Fun, and Sweet and Sour Pork were all flavorful and well-prepared — true Hong Kong-style comfort food. Portions were generous, prices fair, and the food held up well for takeout. Service was friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. Definitely one of the best Chinese fast-food spots in the area!

Got to try out Venus Cafe in Newark recently and ordered a basic brisket rice noodle soup. The flavor was deep as expected, broth comforting, and meat super tender/juicy. My partner's half-half baked pork chop rice was actually a sizeable + hearty portion--perfect post-workout. Love that the interior was clean and casual with its HK decor. Parking was free and easy in the plaza lot.

Adding this to my ever-growing list of cha chaan tengs in the area--thanks...

The afternoon menu has a good selection of meals for under $11 and comes with a drink, not bad for the price.
The foods from the regular menu are also okay, too.
I would like to mention the very good service from the nice waitress.
